Eddward's POV:
Beep! Beep!
I groaned. "Shut up..."
Beep! Beep!
"Shut up."
Beep!
It seems to get louder and louder...
..."DAMMIT I SAID SHUT UP!" My clock skid the ground as I slammed it. It finally stopped. Sighing, I sat up. Silence filling the air. Growing uncomfortable, I stood up.

My feet felt the cold ground as I walked over to the object. The floor creaked slightly. Hands grasping it, I felt its surface. Good, it isn't scratched. I place it into its proper spot on my desk. Clock.

As I walked down stairs, there was that sound, once again filling my home. Silence. No food sizzling in a pan. No paper turning. Not anything. "Good morning..." No one replied.

I slammed the school's door at my entrance. Children looking me up and down. Some frowned, while others cowered in fear. Don't worry. I wouldn't do anything to you if I didn't need something.

"Hey Double D!!"

I narrowed my eyes at the person who spoke.

"Pfft...HA! Don't look at me like that. Calm yourself Eddward. It's just a joke."

"I dislike your "jokes". They are...unpleasant." I frowned.

Eddy just shrugged. He's an idiot.

"Anyways...Eddward...You think we can get anything from the new kid?"

"New person?" My eyes widened. Really? Why hadn't I heard? I usually hear beforehand and investigate, you know if there's any benefit to messing with the person. Ed always informs me.

Eddy puts his arm around me.
"Umm" I twist my face.
"Didn't you hear?" I took Eddy's arm off. "No..I did not."
"Well..You'll meet them soon. They're in your first period. I know you won't miss it either. Bahh, with you being swim captain and the smartest in school, you'd think you'd skip with me one day and throw toilet paper over houses." Eddy said as he walked away from me.
"Its not Halloween Eddy. Besides I don't want to be useless like yourself." I smirked.
"Wow that hurt me...just kidding Sockhead!"
He ran away as I tried to grab him. He gets on my nerves.
Well, well, well...I better go meet...them.
