beomgyu stood in front of miu's locker clutching onto the note he spend his whole night preparing for. he look behind titling his head to see four of his friends a few meters away from him, cheering. he let out a smile before taking a step closer to the locker.
" oh! hey! beomgyu " he quickly backed away when he heard miu's voice, hitting his elbow in the process though he played it cool as he ignored the stinging pain. he grin widely.
" hey, I was going to the school side lake wanna tag along? I think I left my book there last time I visited " he blurted out words he never prepared last night. It wasn't part of the plan but there wasn't anything he could do when she nodded. he heard a faint snicker across the hallway and he knew who exactly it was, glaring at them especially yeonjun he walked out of school with miu.
The pathway to the lake was covered with pink cherry blossoms petals it matched with beomgyu's or more like both of their cheeks complexion. there was a soothing silence between them very different from the last time. All they could hear was the sound of wind swiftly blowing through their ears.
" did you confess yet? " he asked slowing his footsteps.
" nope not yet but I'm nervous " she laughed locking her eyes with beomgyu, making him starstruck. her voice matching along with the sound of flower brushing together every time a wind passes by. the same voice that makes beomgyu fall in love with her all over again. he couldn't hold it in anymore.
" to be honest-" he began before taking a deep breath. miu turned around upon realising the later had halted his step. another wind swish by this time taking his necktie with its direction along with the pretty pink sakura petals, some of it sticking in his hair while it happened.
" I've always lik- no. I've always loved you " he said it, finally he let out the words that were stuck in his throat for past year.
" beomgyu..."
he heard her sweet honey voice before he close his eyes shut to avoid meeting hers. ready to accept the rejection he's about to face but he wasn't aware, of the big smile that appeared on miu's face.
" ... guess I should've acted more cute and sweet for you to confessed sooner " She stated. beomgyu opened his eyes upon her confession, following that his brows furrowed though it soon relax as soon as he saw her giggling.
" I love you too, beomgyu! "
