The journey to London was quiet and tense. Jack had tried to make polite conversation a few times but soon learned neither you nor Zoe were in the mood to talk. Your mind was too fixed on what you would say to Dracula when you saw him. How would he react? Is he still angry? Has he missed you?

Eventually you're pulled from your thoughts as the car pulls up outside an expensive looking apartment building.

"This is where we believe the Count is living now" Zoe informs you as you all exit the car and head to the entrance of the building.

"So, what's the plan?" Jack asks as the three of you enter the lift, but he's met with an awkward silence. "You've got a plan right? I mean we're not just walking into an angry vampire's house without one?"

"Sort of" Zoe replies, pressing the button for the top floor. Jack looks at you, panic in his eyes. You just give him a small, sympathetic smile in return.

Once the lift comes to a stop the three of you walk out. Zoe leads the way down the corridor until she reaches his door. She presses the buzzer, and you all wait in silence. Suddenly the door swings open and there he is, his eyes briefly flash over you and Jack before fixating on Zoe.

"You don't look very surprised" she states calmly.

"You don't look very dead" he replies with a smirk.

"I'm getting there"

There's another moment of silence before Dracula opens the door further, allowing you all to enter. Zoe walks in first, followed by Jack and then you. You lock your eyes on Dracula's face as you walk past him, but he looks past you and closes the door behind you.

Once inside you take a look around his apartment. The room is large, with a long black glossy table in the center. It's surprisingly modern. There is a large floor to ceiling window on the other end, curtains tightly drawn. The only light in the room comes from the dim lit bulbs hanging above the table and a few candles.

"Finding you wasn't difficult." Zoe talks again "One just looks for an unnecessarily tall building, multiple exits and no view of a church."

"Also, your number's listed-" Jack begins but is cut off by Dracula speeding towards him, backing him into the table.

"How kind of you" Dracula smiles "Bringing a bottle to the party" he brings his hand up to Jacks neck, stroking his pulse point gently before suddenly grabbing him by the face.

"Put him down!" You say firmly. Dracula drops Jack to the floor and suddenly is in front of you, but you don't flinch.

"Not just one bottle, but two"

"Oh, stop it, I know what you're doing" you stand face to face with him, staring into his eyes "You're trying to scare me, trying to prove that you're dangerous"

"I am dangerous"

"I don't care"

"You should"

There's another tense silence as the two of you stare at each other for a moment.

"You're expecting company?" Jack asks, looking at the two empty glasses waiting on the table.

"Yes" Dracula turns away from you to turn his attention back to the others.

"Lucy Westenra?" Zoe asks.

"Oh, you know her?" Dracula replies.

"Well this is Dr Seward." Zoe introduces Jack "it was his phone you stole"

"You might say I introduced you" Jack steps forward, slightly braver now.

"Ah, and now she's dead!" Dracula turns to him, smile on his face.
