We were flying on a ship with opened sides and the civilians we gathered were in the cargo hold. I held onto the handle and looked over the destruction of the city, hoping to catch a glimpse of the others. Zavala looked over his shoulder, and softly asked," see them?
"... no. Only the destruction remains out here. Hopefully they got out of the city on their own." I told him softly, turning to look at him, and he sighed, driving us towards the cities walls.
I looked back out, and squinted, saying,@ Zavala... they're putting something on the traveler. What is that?"
The object looked like some sort of clamp and it closed itself around the traveler. An wave went out and I felt my soul quiver, causing me to stagger. I saw Zavala's light react and the ship shifted. " hey, you good?!" I asked in alarm, seeing some of the other guardians stagger and I caught an guardian before they could fall out.
I grasped the handle tightly and saved myself from falling out. My soul quivered and I flinched, rubbing my chest. The ship tilted and I stumbled, walking forward. " zavala! " I shook his shoulders but he wasn't waking.
" one of you take him and strap him in now! " I demanded, a guardian coming and strapping Zavala into a seat in the back.
I strapped myself to the seat and took the control, trying to pull us up. The controls fought me as I tried to pull up and I belted myself in. " everyone seat themself and use the safe harness now! We're going down for an crash landing! " I told the others, flipping switches and hoped I could slow us down enough where we would survive.
I tried to pull us up but we were too close to the tree lines. Soon we crashed into the trees and everything goes black.
