Hello my name is Jacob Jones and im about to tell you a story that will not only give you nightmares but also will teach you a valuable lesson on why you should never take peace and happiness for granted. This happened to me over 62 years ago today but still feels like it was yesterday, back when I was just an 18 year old young man my destiny would be changed forever. Gone was my somewhat quite and normal life replaced with a life of horror and death. It all began with simple disagreement on weather the country of Ukraine should join the former Alliance that was known then as NATO, it was an alliance of several powerful countries such as the USA,UK and several Countries in Europe. It was an alliance that stated that if any members of it were to be attacked then all other members were to come to its aid. Ukraine fearing Invasion by its much stronger and larger Neighbouring Country of Russia due to the latter claiming Ukraine Lands were once part of it making Ukraine want to join The NATO Alliance due to them Knowing they had no chance against the Power that was Russia. This however would be fatal Mistake as it would serve as the spark that would start a decade long war that would change the lives of Millions. Me i just lived a simple but a little bit sad life in the UK in the Town of Bolton about half an hour away from the Large city of Manchester. It all begun for me the day I first started University.
