5 years later...
Bae Nali was now a twenty-five year old businesswoman, freshly graduated out of college with a booming business.
"Bae Nali! can I get your autograph?"
"you're so pretty! do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend yet?"
"can I please hold your hand?"
while Nali just waved politely before she got into the black car, heading towards the airport.
many of her friends were married already, such as Jay and Yunhee, and Iseul and Sunoo. she attended both of the weddings, but never ran into him.
while others, like Reina and Niki were still dating.
there were also two who were still at the "awkward-more-than-friends-but-also-friends" stage, such as Heeseung and Haeun, and Sunghoon and Sooyun.
and there was one couple that was getting married, the sole reason why Nali went back to Korea: Jina and Jake.
she was so happy for them. despite the fact that she was in England, Jina and Jake made sure to call her every single day, checking up on her and making sure that she was alright.
Nali just hoped that she wouldn't run into him.

"Yang Nayoung! you better get down here quickly, today's Auntie Jina and Uncle Jake's wedding!" Jungwon called out to his son.
"appa, can I please go out to the park first?" Nayoung pouted with a smile, showing her adorable dimples that she inherited from Jungwon.
"alright alright," Jungwon said, "be back home by an hour, alright?"
"thank you, appa!!!" Nayoung squealed as she rushed out of the door.

"kid, do you want to come with us?"
"yeah, we have candy in our truck."
"come on, let's go!"
Nayoung's eyes were wide with fear as she backed away from the gang of men advancing on her eagerly. she looked around, seeing if there was anyone to save her.
"HEY! LEAVE THE KID ALONE!" a black car stopped in front of the group as a beautiful woman came out of the car with five bodyguards around her, "if you don't, I'm afraid that you'll get caught."
fearfully, the men ran away, but not before glancing at the gorgeous woman one last time.
"are you alright, sweetie?" the woman asked softly, crouching down and holding Nayoung's hand.
"thank you, imo," Nayoung thanked with a grateful smile on her face, "I don't know what I would have done without your help."
"don't worry about it," the woman smiled, "my name is Bae Nali, how about you?"
"Yang Nayoung," the little girl beamed.
"well, let's get you back to your parents, shall we?" Nali asked kindly as she gently held Nayoung's tiny hand, "here, I'll walk with you."
looking back at the bodyguards, she said, "you don't have to surround me, feel free to take that day off—"
"Ms. Bae, your safety is our top priority," the head bodyguard said, "we'll follow you and the kid in the car."
"alright alright," Nali sighed before turning back to Nayoung, "come on, Nayoung! lead the way!"
and that was how the young woman found herself in front of a random house on the street.
"appa!" Nayoung banged on the door.
"Nayoung!" a familiar-looking man came rushing to the door.
"this kind imo saved me! I was almost kidnapped!" Nayoung exclaimed as she hugged the man.
"Jungwon?" Nali's eyes widened.
"Nali?" Jungwon questioned as well.
