Chapter 1

Mystery van

"We solve another mystery should we go get something to eat?" Fred suggested

"Food! Where are we going?" Shaggy asked excitedly

"Fred have you forgotten something we have a date tonight" Daphne protested the idea

"Oh sorry it slipped my mind" Fred scratched his head nervous

"Slip your mind huh?" Daphne sat up straight and crossed her arms

"Well Shaggy we have to do that another time then," Fred said as he placed his arm around Daphne's shoulders

"We can go together if you don't mind" Velma looked back at Shaggy and invited him to go celebrate together if Fred and Daphne were busy

"I don't mind at all let enjoy ourselves after a long day together!" Shaggy answer excitedly

"Where will you guys go?" Daphne asked

"Maybe a pizza place maybe I'll let Shaggy choose" Velma answered while reading her book Daphne looked at Velma a little longer then turned her attention back to Fred

"Fred, can you drop us off at my house?" Velma said

"No problem" Fred answered then made a turn to Velma's house

After Fred drops them off at Velma's house she then has dinner with Shaggy and Scooby for a job well done later that night as Velma is about to sleep she hears a bell ring

'Who here at this hour?' Velma thought to herself as she walked to the front door she tried to figure out who was at the door

Velma opened her front door slowly she saw a tall figure in a purple dress waiting for her

"Daphne? What are you doing here this late at night?" Velma asks as she rubs her eyes trying to focus

"Can I go in?" Daphne ask quietly

"Oh sorry come in," Velma moved aside to let Daphne in they walked up to Velma's room

"Why are you here Daphne?" Velma asks with a grumpy voice

"I just want to see you" Daphne answered as she sat on Velma's bed cupping the short hair sleepy face

"What!? You can see me tomorrow you know that right"

"But I want to see you now how was your dinner with Shaggy?" Daphne rubbed Velma's cheeks

"Dinner? Oh it was great we had so much fun" Velma just answered whatever she was asked at this point she just wanted to sleep she was too exhausted for this right now

"Right, do you like him?"

"Sorry but can we talk about it tomorrow  I'm so tired right now" Velma grabbed Daphne's hands leading her to lie down

"If you want to change your clothes you can pick something out of my closet" Velma said turning her body to her comfortable side

Seeing Velma turn her back on her made Daphne feel a little sad inside she got up walked to the closet picked some comfy clothes to wear and walked back to the bed lying down wrapped her arm around Velma's waist

"Good night babe"
