Chapter 2

Next morning

Sunlight shines through the window down to Daphne's face when she starts to wake up Daphne moves her arm around expecting to feel Velma lying beside her but when she doesn't feel Velma's presence she opens her eyes looks around to try to find the room owner

Then Velma walked in dressed up for the day

"Good morning do you sleep well?" Velma asked with a gentle smile

"Good morning it would be better if you were beside me when I woke up"

"Hahaha it's time to get up we have a little bit of time for you to get change at your house before school" Velma lets out a chuckle telling Daphne to get up

After Velma is done preparing her things the two of them get into Velma's car they are on their way to Daphne's house the drive is silent so Velma starts to ask about last night

"Daphne about last night..." Velma says glancing to her side Velma sees that Daphne is on her phone texting someone

"Hmm?" Daphne answered in her throat her eyes still fixed on her phone

"Why did you come so late?"

"I already told you I want to see you that's why"

"You did?"

"Yes at the door remember" Daphne put her phone back in her purse and then looked at Velma

"Maybe I was too sleepy I don't really remember anything" Velma scratched her head out of embarrassment

"Then you don't remember what I asked you before you went to sleep?"

"What did you ask me?"

"I asked if you like Shaggy or not" Daphne almost turned her whole body to face Velma, waiting for Velma's answer

"What!? There's no way he's my friend" Velma took a quick look at Daphne then turned back to look at the roads

"Well we were friends until like months ago" Daphne says tilting her head to try to look into Velma's eyes

"You know I'm not into men" Velma says

"I know b-"

"We are here! do you want me to wait?" Velma ask

"It ok you can go, Fred will pick me up" Daphne could see Velma's eyes drop when she heard Fred's name she knew that Velma was hurt but she couldn't do anything

"Alright then see you at school" Velma says then drives off

School hallway

Velma was about to open her locker when someone approached her

"Morning Velma"

"Oh hi Marcie good morning" Velma closed her locker and then turned to greet the long-hair girl next to her

"Are you free this evening?" Marcie asks while adjusting her book

"Well I don't have any plans so yeah I'm free"

"Perfect then see you after school at the library" Marcie waved at Velma and then walked off to her class

At the same time, Daphne Fred and Shaggy are about to walk to their locker

"Aren't that hot dog water talking to Velma" Shaggy says pointing at Marcie and Velma

"When did they get so close?" Daphne asked still eyeing the two girls talking to each other

"They used to compete in the same competition right maybe that's how they became friend" Fred says placing his hand on Daphne's hip

After Marcie walked off Velma turned around and saw the three of them standing there

"Why are you guys standing right there class is about to start" Velma says

"I didn't know you and Hot Dog Water were friends" Shaggy says

"We just became friends about a week ago" Velma answered with a smile

"I'll head to my class first I have a test today Sse you guys later" Velma says walking off to her class

Evening

"That is for today and don't forget to study for your test next week" the teacher says as many students walk off the door includingVlma and Daphne they are in the same class today

"Velma, can you drop me off at my house today?" Daphne asked it was not like she couldn't just ask Fred to do so it just that she wanted to spend more time with Velma

"Is Fred busy today?" Velma asked

"He not but I want to spend time with you" Daphne took Velma's hand into her

"Sorry Daphne I want to spend time with you too but I have a plan with Marcie today" Velma says squeezing Daphne's hand

"Oh... can I come with you then but it ok if I can't" Daphne asked dropping her face and not looking at Velma

"I need to ask Marcie first if she ok with you coming along" Velma pulled out her phone and texted Marcie

"Let's go to our locker while waiting for Marcir's response" Velma started to walk to the locker still holding Daphne's hand

Daphne noticed that Velma was still holding her hand as she walked past everyone. She didn't know if it made her feel happy or afraid

Afraid that everyone would know about their relationship, Daphne was lost in her thoughts then she felt Velma let go of her hand

It looks like Velma sees her anxious face that's why she lets go of her hand

"Sorry I forgot I can't do that here" Velma says as she looks side to side nervous then a notification on her phone goes off Marcie replies that she doesn't mind Daphne coming along

"Marcie said she doesn't mind you coming with us"

After the two of them get their thing they go meet Marcie at the library

I don't know when I'm gonna write about how their relationship turned this way, please stay tuned

And I write this when I have an idea so I don't have a specific time for when will the next chapter come out
