Tip...Tap...Water droplets dripped daintily in small portions against a hard surface..
I'd breathe, 'I'm alive?" "Where am I?' I thought to myself..
My eyes were concealed with something itchy and tight..No doubt a mask.
I would twist my hands, still in the moment of gaining consciousness. My head was dizzy and my heart was thumping with a slow, increasing rate.
Thump..Thump..Is how I felt my heart beat..Swallowing my dry saliva, I twisted my hands and legs. My hands and legs were wrapped up with a crunchy rope. I knew I was sitting down on a chair, in a cold dark place..A very cold place.
I'd breathe for a minute..Analyzing my horrible situation. 'Death would be easier than this.' I'd think to myself.
If I was in a movie scene, it'd be cliche with what would happen next. A screeching door would open, someone would flick on a light, walking over-
A sudden lock unclamped, which made my breath and heart hitch.
A heavy door trembled open, one..no two..no 5?
Multiple people entered the room is all I was sure of.
Someone stepped closer to me.
I'd try to move my body away from them,, of course it was no use with how my body was tied..
"Defensive isn't she?" A man said, snickering. At the same time, another person lifted my mask.
My eyes fluttered open only to be met with the sight of eight, muscular men.
'Fuck.'
"It's wonderful you're awake." One of them spoke,, he had his arms crossed, directly in front of me too.
I'd grit my teeth, composing myself to glare at him.
"It would be wonderful if I was out of these ropes, wouldn't it be?" I'd peachily smile, a bitchy undertone to my sentence.
"Oh! She's got a mouth, Hyung." One of them said, stepping closer.
I'd redirect my gaze to him, now cold and radiating, "Do anything, and you'll be riving in pain."
"Certainly!" The man before cheerfully stated, leaning down to my level.
He'd menacingly crouch, not dropping eye contact as he whispered, "And if you want to keep your tongue, keep your mouth..Shut."
I'd inch my head back, noticing the gun in his hand..
He'd compose himself again, a smirk on his face.
"Good. You know when to shut up..Let's hope you know when to speak." He and the others snickered.
"Now, Doll.", He'd continue, "You were brought here for a reason. Do you know what that reason is." He'd say..Almost like it wasn't a question but a statement.
I'd focus my eyes on him, shaking my head with an attitude.
He'd smirk, humming quietly, "mm,,, Well to inform you..Before I kill you-"
"Aish..Just kill me already..Since I talked..!" I'd smile annoyingly, leaning in to taunt.
He'd pause, as the other men who I assume are his gang members and he as the leader, stepped back in shock.
"Go on then..Or was that an empty threat?" I'd smile, leaning back in my chair acting righteous and perky.
"S-she called you out..Hyung" One of the younger ones said, baffled.
He'd shake his head before stepping closer to me and putting his hand on the back of my chair, so close that his hot breath was on my face and his body towered above me.
"I don't make empty threats." He'd say in my ear, loud enough for the rest to hear. He'd grab his gun from his holder, loading it.
I'd tremble,,'It's always your smart mouth Suki..'
He'd point it at my temple, ready to shoot.
I'd shiver, averting my face and closing my eyes.
BANG!!
I'd wince, not feeling the impact of a bullet hit my temple. 'What in the hell?'
I'd look to the side, seeing a gun with a bullet bust on it. Id then look up, seeing the leader standing there, glaring at something or someone.
Someone..
No..It was the man at the restaurant, his gun still pointed in my direction.
"HYUNJIN!! What the hell are you doing??" The leader said, pushing the man's shoulder.
Hyunjin..
"You're being irrational, Chan. She said some smart-ass words, whatever. You're in charge here, get back to the interrogation." He'd say calmly, a soothing emotion to his voice.
I'd breathe, shaking my head in disbelief of what just happened.
The man or..Chan breathed, turning his attention back to me.
"Say anything smart again and that bullet will be in your skull." He'd coldly state it.
I'd slowly nod, still in shock.
"Now let's cut to the chase. The reason you're here is because you're the direct descendant of one of the most prestigious families in South Korea, believe it or not." He'd say it so casually it made my heart stop as I looked at him in the eyes.
The air went cold and silent.
I'd let out a weak, awkward laugh. "What? No!-i- Im an orphan from a drug addict family..there is no way in hell Im-" I'd say before being cut off by Chan.
"It must be shocking for you. Butttt..It's the truth and you're our only hope of getting the family fortune." He'd say, breathing in and crossing his arms.
'There's no way I'm from the Kang family..'
I'd zone out, only for Chan to wave his hand in my face and snap at me.
"Are you paying attention to me, Suki?" He'd scowl.
I'd blink, nodding.
"Listen, if you don't want to do this mission..you have no other choice but death..And.." He'd sigh, "the way you're killed here is not well,, let's just say not pleasant." He'd smile.
Death..
"I-" I'd breathe.
"I'll do it."
