I hate Monday's. I'm literally just like Garfield. I'm just so bored all day. The only subjects i have today are Media studies for four periods and then design 5th period, and let's not forget I've been working all weekend meaning I'm lacking in sleep, and i won't be able to focus all day.

I'm currently sitting in form next to Mr. Andrews, our form teacher. He hands me his phone to read out the notices to the form.

"Sports exchange meeting at break one...Alex you need to collect something at the office...and... oh, coloring competitions available at the office, due Friday."

I organized those. I'm the head of arts at school. Mostly because the only subjects I take are art based, and I do theatre in and out of school. So, I am THE arts person, basically.

I finish off the notices, just as the bell rings. I grab my bag and head to class.

I'm sitting on the netball court taking in the warmth of the sun. James, Marko and Lucas are talking about some random game they play together. I make eye contact with Ellie, who's curled up in Lucas's lap. Those two have been dating for almost a year now. Ellie and I look at each other with faces saying, "What the heck are they on about this time?" Ellie and I have been best friends since day one of year 1 of school. A whole 13-year friendship that has made us able to read more than just each other's facial expressions.

"What subject have you got next, El?" I ask.

"Chemistry. Ugh." Ellie is literally a genius. She does what's known as "The Asian Five", (Math's, English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.) She wants to be a doctor, and I believe that she'll become one, because how hard she has worked to get even this far.

"Well, that's highly unfortunate Dr. Jones" Lucas says as he squeezes his arms around Ellie, causing her to look up at him, smiling.

The bell rings and we all get up to head to class.

"Hey, Lucas, what date's your 18th party again? I've got to make sure I get the time off work" I ask, as we walk in the doors to our common room.

"Oh, uh. I'm not quite sure yet, sorry. Still sorting out money and the right place and everything."

"Well, let me know asap, so I can actually go."

"Okay, okay. I will."

"Alright, see you guys later." I grab my laptop out of my locker, and head to design with Marko.
