Shinobu: Why would Tanjiro think that telling us that he killed an uppermoon by himself be a bad thing?
Me: And thats my cue! He would be promoted to hashira
Obanai: Why would that be bad? His word would have more sway and he could even argue for his sister
Me: Once again you are wrong! Actually him being a hashira won't change the fact that he brought a demon into the demon slayer corps. And with being hashira comes responsibilities. He's already barely able to visit his sister so having hashira responsibilities on top of that would just make things harder for both him and Giyu
Shinobu: what do you mean and Giyu?
Me: Well remember last time when I said that Nezuko was locked up somewhere? Well hashiras have complete access to that room so both Tanjiro and Giyu were worried about Nezukos safety. In order to help Tanjiro out, Giyu promised to keep an eye out for her and stop any assassination attempts
Sanemi: That sounds over the top. I doubt anyone would be dumb enough to try any of that
Me: There have been a total of 15 attempts on Nezukos life that Tomioka stopped, with Sanemi being the one who tried the most and obani being the rest!
Gyeomi: Going so far as to watch the child and protect her, all on top of his hashira duties. A truly noble and kind soul you are Tomioka
Mitsuri: What about the rest of us!? Are we doing anything to help?
Me: The only thing Giyu could manage with the rest of you is convincing Kanronji to tell Giyu of Obanai's location at all times and convincing Shinobu to distract Sanemi and Obanai when needed. Its not much but it lessened the burden on Giyu by a bit
Mitsuri: Poor Tomioka san, protecting these kids all alone and even going so far as to fight Shinazugawa and Iguro to protect them. Truly a beautiful act!
Rengoku: I agree but let's not forget about the burdens of young Kamado

Shinobu: I almost forgot about that. Including the fact that he hates the violent acts he has to do in order to keep his sister safe and It looks like he's having a hard time
