When he lost his reason for living, his love and home, he finds himself in another world.... Without help from anybody, and with a tenacious will to live, he and his trusted sword, carved a path in this new world.

He faced numerous enemies, and time and time again, proved to himself, that he can make the impossible... Possible.

But while confronting his last and most powerful enemy... He discovered that no matter how he fights and struggle... The enemy will always win.

So, in a final attempt to win, and save the unknown world from this formidable enemy, he sealed his adversary in himself, at the cost of becoming a empty shell... Without memories, without emotions, completely empty.

That was the last time the warrior was seen... Many have tried to find him, but no one succeeded.

in an act of homage to the warrior, they gave him a title.... The Hollow knight.

Until today... The people from that world believe, that if the evil returns one day... So will the Hollow knight. To fight the darkness.
