a lone girl stood atop the school building. she could hear the whispers echoing in her mind of her classmates words. simple statements that held so much power. standing there, looking out at the sunny sky and considering her options, she could continue living and continue on her mundane life. day in and day out, probably after school being stuck at a boring office job. or, she could let go of all her worries and pains, and let go of her life.

she made up her mind rather quickly, she will kill herself.

she let out a shaky breath before taking a step closer to the slender edge. she felt herself smile, even though her heart was heavy with sadness. she let put a soft chuckle, and looked up at the clear blue sky with her dull e/c eyes.

it was so depressing her world. people so gluttonous that they can't look past their own nose. it was hilarious to be honest, she couldn't wait to be free of the heartaches and pain. as she was about to walk off the edge, the door leading to the roof slammed open. heavy breathing was heard behind her.

"L/N!! PLEASE, DON'T DO IT!" the feminine voice pleaded. the girl on the ledge, named l/n y/n, simply turned her head and smiled sweetly at the girl behind her. it was one of her classmates. her name was hina momo, a sweet girl who had a heart of gold. she was one of the most popular students in her school.

y/n didn't know how she knew that she was going to kill herself, but she didn't really care. "sorry hina, but, life isn't for me." as she said that, she walked off the building. she could almost hear the terrified scream that ripped from hina momo's throat if it wasn't for the wind screeching into her ears. y/n let out a sigh, looking rather bored, that her fall was taking forever.

as she descended closer to the ground, she closed her eyes. welcoming the feeling of the air flying past her. her h/c h/l hair swirled and flickered around her, hiding her face. she wasn't having any flashbacks like how people said you would have when you committed suicide, nor was she feeling regret. she didn't feel an ounce of fear as she plummeted to the concrete.

on y/n's face was a soft smile. people below her let out worried gasps and screams as they saw the school girl falling rather quickly to her death, but sadly, it was already too late to call the police. a sickening loud crunch was heard as she finally hit the asphalt. blood seeped out of her broken body and clung to the sidewalk, staining it crimson forever. her mutilated body laying in awkward an position, her limbs all tangled. bones sticking out in various places, her breaths shallow. she didn't feel any pain surprisingly, just emptiness.

her e/c eyes dazed from the impact, she looked up at the morning sky. it was a bright, warm sunny day. the sun shined down upon the girl, as if god was welcoming her himself to the pearly gates. it was comforting to an extent. y/n didn't see the light like how some people said they saw when they were dying, nor did she see her body from a third point of view. it was just her and the blinding sun.

y/n could barely even keep her eyes open. she weakly smiled, before closing her eyes forever. all she heard was the ringing in her ears as people crowded around her, worried glances thrown at each other. the ringing growing ever louder by each passing second. she went limp. 'is this goodbye?' she thought. 'i can't wait to see what's on the other side.'  y/n concluded as she lost consciousness.

but this is the end for her.
the end of l/n y/n.
