It's been 20 years since the bros had seen JD, 20 years since JD went grey, 20 years since JD had been in hiding from everyone, and the brothers are very worried because they're not able to find Rhonda anywhere, until they found her alone in the woods with a note from JD, Bruce was the first to see the note and grabbed it he read it out loud.

"Whoever is reading this you have found my pet, her name is Rhonda, i have let her go to find someone to look after her better than i ever could, so please look after my baby, and Rhonda i love you, my name is John Dory and I'm living in the woods alone don't come find me, if you're my brothers Bruce, Clay, Floyd, and Branch, I'm so sorry for treating yous badly, Bruce bro I'm so sorry for putting you in the heartthrob position i never knew how much you hated it I'm dumb i should have listened to yous, so, I'm sorry my baby bug, Clay even though you were 13 years old I put you in the "fun one" box when you wanted to be taken seriously I'm sorry my little lightning bolt, Floyd, my little flower, the one I should have been listening too, I'm so sorry for putting you in the sensitive role I know I shouldn't have and I'm sorry bro, and Branch, bitty b, my little moonlight, you were just a baby I should never have forced you into the band I'm so so sorry baby bro I hope yous can forgive me if not then that is ok.

Love John Dory, your hopefully still, older brother."

Bruce finished reading the note in tears, the other's broke down in tears as he was reading the note, Bruce was starring at the note crying, Floyd, Branch and Clay were all on the floor crying  there tails low and hugging each other, they were there for three minutes before they decided to go back to the bunker and make a plan to go find JD, they looked everywhere, all the genres, Bergen town, vacay island (which was highly doubtful but they did anyway), the woods, but unfortunately for them they didn't find anything to help them find their oldest brother, but unbeknownst to them JD was following the bros the whole time.

John Dory's POV

I have been following my little brothers for a while, I think it's been 20 years now, I think I'm in my 40s now, and they haven't seen me yet, I've been in the shadows secretly watching them look for me, when i wasn't watching them I was out hunting, I have gone feral, because I haven't been around other trolls, i also have grown a longer tail and claws, i also broke my goggles when I fell out of a tree and landed on my head, my vest is ripped cuz i've grown a bit larger than a average troll so now i only wear a fur cape with no shirt i still wear my green shorts but there also ripped, and my glove i still wear that but it is very worn out, i've got multiple scars from fights I've been in with other animals, i have developed stronger instincts and my senses have been heightened, i also walk on all fours so it's easier to hunt and run, i also have found out that pop trolls can glow when mad, scared or protecting someone they love to scare off others, but the other trolls don't know how, i also don't talk since I haven't been around others for so long and i don't need too, I have encountered some trolls in forest but since I want to be alone, I either attack or growl at them to go away, I'm still grey but I'm ok now.

Third person POV

JD was wondering around in the forest until he heard a noise, it sounded like it was coming closer, so JD ran and climbed up a tree, when he was high enough he sat on a tree branch to see what the sound was, when he seen what it was his eyes widened, it was Rhonda, she stopped where JD was before and sniffed the area, then her side door opened to reveal four trolls, he knew who they were immediately, his baby brothers, their colors have dulled and Floyd and Branch are crying, since his hearing have heightened he could hear their conversation "Guys we can't find him anywhere, we've been looking for him for ages." Branch said in a sad tone "Yeah we know, but we have to keep looking." Bruce said in a desperate voice, when JD heard that his heart dropped. He had made his brothers colors dull, he had to go down and see his brothers, but would they want to see him now that he's feral, he doesn't even remember how to talk or sing, he just roars, growls and hisses, unfortunately for JD Rhonda seen him and JD was to stuck in his thoughts so he didn't notice, so when Rhonda nuzzled Bruce and looked up at the tree, he was confused at first, but when he followed her sight and he seen what she was looking at his eyes widened and tears were starting to pool in his eyes "JOHNNY YOUR ALIVE." He screamed in relief, when JD heard this, the feral troll looked at Bruce with wide eyes. Bruce could see the fear in his older brothers eyes, the others looked at Bruce then the feral troll in tree and then hid behind Bruce, JD looked at them and he was hurt that they were scared of him but he understands he doesn't look that nice "Guys it's JD. Why are yous hiding behind me?" Bruce asked confused by his brother's behavior "That thing is not John Dory." Clay said in an angry voice, the feral troll in question was very hurt as that sentence finished, he ears lowered and his tail wrapped around his waist, for self comfort, Bruce slapped Clay upside the head for saying that and said "Clay what the hell is wrong with you? That's John Dory, look at him." "I am." " NO! Look at him closer". So Clay did what he was told and saw a one snaggletooth black earrings and a brow slit, after what he just saw he 100% knew it was JD, but why did he look like that? Was it because he's been in the forest for 20 years? Was it their fault because of what they said that night?, the younger bros were crying happy tears because they found their older brother, JD slid down the tree so silently it was scary for the other four bros, he landed in a patch of long grass that was under the tree he stayed still for a bit then started to move towards his baby brothers, but they didn't see him, it wasn't until he popped out of the grass was when they seen him, they yelled out of surprise cuz they didn't hear him, which made the feral troll flinch back, but Floyd quickly reassured him "Wait, wait, wait, we didn't mean to yell, it's okay Johnny." It was like talking to a scared animal, John Dory didn't know what to do ,run or stay, it was until he was tackled to the ground by his brothers in a warm hug, he was surprised cause he hated being touched but he also hated being alone, he growled at first but then he started to purr at them, they were confused, why isn't he talking? Can he talk? That's when Bruce spoke up "John where have you been? We were so worried about you." "Yeah man it's been 20 years since we've seen you. We missed you big bro." Clay said "Don't you ever leave like that again. I almost went grey again." Branch said a little bit mad at him, At that JD's purring stop's, he looks at his bros with sadness then looks away, he slowly gets out of the cuddle pile and walks away not too far away from them but far enough, the bros are concerned about him because he has never acted like this before, but then again it has been 20 years.

John Dory's POV

I almost made one of my bros go grey, what the hell is wrong with me? Tears started to pool in my eyes, I quickly wiped my eyes with my tail, my brothers seem to notice that, cuz they came over to me, Floyd and Branch tried to hug me but i moved away from them and i started to walk away,  it wasn't until i heard crying behind me, i stopped in my tracks and looked back to my brothers, Clay and Bruce were trying to calm them down but they couldn't, i felt bad but i tried to ignore it so i turned around again but i was meet with my old companion, Rhonda, she looked at me with sadness and... the puppy eyes, "dang it Rhonda." I thought, she knew the puppy eyes would get me, she nuzzled my face with hers then looked at my brothers, i knew what she was thinking, and then she looked back at me, she must've seen the look in my eyes cuz she nudged me towards my brothers and nodded, so i went to them.

And rapped everyone up in a hug of my own.

Third person POV 

JD went to comfort his youngest brothers, when they looked up to see who was hugging them they didn't expect John Dory to be there, but when they seen him they started to cry harder because they missed him and his hugs, he was big enough to hug them mostly, but because of Bruce's hair he couldn't, so he used his tail to wrap them all in a hug, they started to purr, it was comforting to John, they stayed like that for 3 minutes until Bruce spoke up "p-please don't leave us alone again Johnny, we don't want to be alone, we need you, w-we l-l-love y-you." Was he crying? JD tightened the hug to reassure them that he wasn't going anywhere, the bro's returned the hug crying and soon enough John Dory started to cry as well "this is gonna be a wild ride." He thought.
