Mikaza is irritated. Why you might ask. The reason is, as much as being handcuffed sounds sexy, it's annoying as fuck. You can't do shit for god's sake. But the good part was, she was handcuffed to HIM!
She was squealing internally. 'OMG OMG OMG OMG OUR HANDS LITERALLY TOUCHING... HE'S SO SOFT, FUCK'
Calm your hormones ma'am, you ain't a teenager anymore.
The ride was rather a quite one, mikaza was sitting in the passenger seat, admiring the rather quite wednesday morning, while he was driving.
Her mansion was in the outskirts of the city, so the road that led to the highways was empty. Well no one really took this route. They all knew what danger lies ahead.
The wind was hitting her face like a feather, and the slight smell of the soil from the rain last night, brought a sense of happiness to her heart. Sitting next to him, while he was slightly humming to a song, this felt like a dream.
"This is so romantic, don't you think?" She broke the silence.
"No it's not and I'd like it if you keep your silence."
"Have you ever been in love?" Was the next question she asked. So sudden.Sigh, she's not gonna listen is she?
"Yes I have. Long back, when I was 13." He answered her question.
It was boring to stay silent, so why not talk with each other. He did want to get to know about the biggest drug dealer in the country."Hmm hmm. What happened? Did you two break up? Why?"
"We never dated, I never confessed to her. Well... It would've been useless anyways."
"Useless?"
"She betrayed me. She betrayed Us."Silence followed after the said words.
His voice was hurt. He must've lover her so much and this made Mikaza's heart clench. Fuck. Was it because he was sad, or because she was jealous of whoever that girl is?
"You really loved her huh? What's her name?"
"Let's drop the topic, let me ask you a question."
"Go ahead baby boy, ask away~"Mikaza didn't notice as she had her eyes outside the window but his cheeks reddened. Slightlyyyyy. Okay maybe a bit.
"Why did you become a drug dealer?"
"I saw that coming."He chuckled.
"Haha, what else did you expect from a cop?"Mikaza's eyes widened, she made him laugh.
His laugh... It's so beautiful. So pleasant.
"That's a story for another day, I will definitely tell you. But not today."
"Damn." Jungkook accepted his defeat. "Then I'll ask you something else." He said.
"Go ahead."
"Why did you surrender? I've been trying so hard to get you all these years. Not just me, so many well trained officials have tried to get you. You were so smart with your tactics that your escaped every single time, and.... And I thought I had no chance..." He continued.
"But you were so easy. Why this time? Why now? Why not the previous times I tried my best to catch you?" He couldn't stop asking her questions. It bothered him. She was so powerful, she had the most strongest henchmen, the largest security in her mansion, and surprisingly all of them had stopped working today.
"Why me?"
I like you, jungkook. I always have. Always will.
Fuck, how she wish these words would slip out of her tongue.
"There's a saying that goes,"
I'd rather die, than live without passion.
"Who said that?"
"I don't know, some intellectual person. Must be a genius."
"What's that got to do with my question?"
"I've been waiting for this day my whole life, jungkook. You have no idea. All of my hardwork, all the hardships I went through, it's all for this day."
"What do you mean? What's today?!" His voice turned serious. Is she planning something? A huge mafia dealing? This is serious. Very serious.
"Tell me, what have you planned? What are you gonna do? TELL ME NOW!" he immediately hit the breaks and the tires left out a loud screech.
The car came to a halt. He looked at her straight in the eyes. Her gaze unwavering, she said,
"There's someone I need to defeat. And... I need your help with it, jungkook."
To be continued
