Lottie and Stiles were laying in her bed watching Supernatural, laughing at the creatures on the show and placing bets on what they thought might actually exist in their world.

"Sorry Lotts, but there is no way Centaurs are real? Where would they even live?" Stiles protested after a hefty speech Lottie had just given him, detailing all the reasons why it would be beneficial for Centaurs to exist.

"In a forest somewhere? Duh. Come on, it would be so cool. Like Firenze in Harry Potter, he was an astronomy teacher for a while. He was so cool. I want a Centaur. Not like a pet or anything because they are obviously people in their own right but like as a friend. Werewolves are boring." Lottie sighed thoughtfully as she told Stiles her reasoning. In her mind she's seen so many werewolves now, they weren't all that exciting.

"So you're bored of your friends? Your brother?" Stiles teased as Lottie slapped his arm playfully.

"Never! I just mean, give me something new, you know. Werewolves, sirens, kanimas. I want something new." Lottie shrugged.

"What about the thing sacrificing everyone? That's not enough?" Stiles joked.

"That's too much actually. Plus, we have no clue what it is so there's nothing to research."

Stiles was about to reply when Lottie's phone started blaring 'Maneater' by Nelly Furtardo, Lottie's ringtone for Lydia. Immediately Lottie placed a finger over Stiles' lip, laughing when he bit it playfully as she answered.

"Lydipad? You okay?" Lottie answered.

"Lottie. I need you. Can you come to the school? It happened again. I-I don't remember how I got here. I-I just- I need you." Lydia stuttered terrified down the phone.

"Lydipad, take a big deep breath for me and stay where you are. I'll be there in fifteen. I'll text the others too okay? Do you want me to stay on the phone?" Lottie asked as she dragged Stiles off the bed and struggled to put her shoes on as she held her phone with one hand.

"Yes please. Lottie what is happening to me?" Lydia whispered.

"I don't know Lydiapad but I swear, we will figure it out okay? Together. Now, let me tell you everything that happened in Glee last night." Lottie did her best to distract her as she climbed into Roscoe with the help of Stiles as he sped through the night. They arrived at the school quickly, Stiles breaking several speeding laws knowing it was more important for Lottie to get to Lydia.

Tires burned the pavement as Scott raced his motorbike to a stop in the school's parking lot next to Stiles' Jeep as he too pulled into the lot. Not waiting for Stiles' to hold the door for her, Lottie jumped down from the Jeep and looked around, unaware of the disappointed look on Stiles' face at her haste.

"Where is she?" Lottie called out, having just hung up on Lydia as they arrived.

"Over here!" They heard Allison call out as she walked out of the shadows with Lydia in tow. The redhead clutched herself tightly as she had a distant, fearful look in her eyes. Lottie didn't hesitate as she ran at Lydia, wrapping the girl up in her arms as Lydia's shoulders sagged in relief. Lydia couldn't explain it but there was a certain comfort she drew from Lottie that she didn't get from anyone else. It was like when Lottie was around, she knew everything would be okay.
