THE KING'S WIVES [COMPELTED]

After Felix was revived back to life, he slowly regained consciousness as he looked around the room filled with doctors checking on his heart rate, breathing and his bandaged wrists, while one doctor leaned closer to his face as he opened his eyes checking them with an ophthalmoscope lite.

"My Queen how are you feeling, does it hurt anywhere", he asked, but Felix just shook his head as a no and continued scanning the room till he came eye to eye with Chris who was seated right beside him holding his hands with nothing but tears in his eyes. 

When Chris saw Felix staring at him, he smiled warmly at him and tried to caress his face only for Felix to move his head away, then pulled his hand away turning to sleep on his other side without saying a word. Chris folded his lips together feeling ashamed of what he had become to Felix, therefore deciding to leave the doctors as they tend to Felix alone.

Once he closed the door shut to Felix's bedroom, he raised up his head and got startled when he realized he wasn't the only one waiting and worried about Felix. There were few maids standing by and crying, while Han was crying as well on the floor being comforted by Minho. Changbin and Innie were trying hand fan the dramatic Hyunjin who was brawling his eyes out on the floor as well. Jennie was busy flirting with some guard by the door who ignored her, while Lisa looked at two with boredom and disgust.

"Everybody out", Chris said in a soft tone causing the rest to flinch from being startled as well. They started to leave one by one while the ones who were on the floor all rose to their feet looking at Chris with worry as he had blood stains all over his clothes and tears still falling from his eyes. "I SAID EVERYBODY OUT! except for Han and Minho", he stated angrily once again as the rest quickly ran out of there, leaving the nervous Han who clutched onto Minho's arm as they both approached the King. 

"What the F*ck happened this morning when I left you with my wife?', he asked raising a brow at the shaking Han. "Your majesty, he was sound asleep when I left him to escorts the doctor outside that came earlier to check up on him, then that's when I heard the sound of breaking glasses being shattered inside his bedroom and...and that's.... ", Han couldn't finish his sentence as he began to cry again, causing Minho to pull him into another hug.

Chris began to rub his temples with his thumbs before facing the two, "Han, i want you to go with one of the guards and fetch Mrs. Lee back here, the doctor said it might help Felix somehow. Minho, you go prepare the prisoner, once I've taken a bath, we going to inrterrogate that bastard down there once more...understood?" he ordered Minho who quickly gave him a nod. "Yes Your majesty, right away"

SPLASHHHH!!!!

Mark choked as he was placed on a chair with his hands and legs bound, while one guard tightly held his head upright, covered with a dirty rag, while another guard held a big jar of cold water splashing it down his whole face.

"Stop!", Chris told the guards as they removed the rag from his face causing Mark to choke and cough while gasping for air. Chris walked right up to him. "Anything refreshing you memory yet ?", he questioned him in a disgusted tone.

"(cough).... (cough)...please your majesty, I.. I don't know what do you want me to admit to here", he asked looking up at Chris in a trembling, hoarse and confusing voice. Chris scoffed at him before returning to his seat.

"Stop waisting my time, AGAIN!", Chris shouted out, only to be cut off by the begging Mark. "Please... No more your majesty, what do you want say",, he pleaded in exhaustion and fright as Chris chuckled at him.

"So now you ready to admit that you cheated with Felix?". Mark furrowed his brows in confusion before looking back at the King. "Sir, I've never cheated nor slept with Felix ever. I swear on my dead mother", he said innocently, while Chris huffed and marched up to him again, giving him a big punch on the face.

"YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM ME YOU PIECE OF SH*T... I saw you, and Felix, right before I went to war. YOU BOTH KISSED....God knows what else you did while I was gone, now tell me I'm wrong before I kill you with my own bare hands right now, and hang your body for all to see, with a sign that says [Never mess with a King's Wive] !!!!" Chris growled out.

Mark who was trembling and nervous, began to think harder, when suddenly... the memory came rushing back, like it happened yesterday. As Chris was about to tell the guards to resume with the torture, Mark finally yelled out," I REMEMBER, oh dear God I remember", he cried out as he began to l lowered his head in shame.

Chris, Minho and Changbin quickly glanced at each other before facing Mark again. "SPEAK UP!", Chris shouted at him in an irritated tone.

"It's all my fault, Felix is innocent, he didn't do anything wrong to you your majesty, it was all my stupid Idea, trying my luck. See I.... I always loved Felix, but, his heart always belonged to you. I honestly didn't know you saw us that day, and if memory serves me right, I think you caught me and him rehearsing for my play which I took advantage of and kissed him more than I should have, because he even pushed me away since he didn't like it. I remember now because the following day, you left for war without saying goodbye to him. He even told me about it feeling sad, but I didn't care, I was selfish and happy you left him without saying anything, thinking it was my blessing and chance to be with him, not knowing I've caused you two this big midunderstanding".

Mark looked up at where the King stood with regret and tears all over his face, "I'm so sorry your majesty, please, if anyone needs to be hurt is definitely me, not Felix, he's a pure innocent soul who got mixed in this dilemma. Please have mercy on him and his mother", he pleaded as he lowered his head in shame and remorse.

Minho closed his eyes as he took a sigh of relief waiting for his king's orders after knowing the whole truth behind Felix and Mark. Chris was in shock as he stumbled back into his seat thinking quietly, feeling foolish, regretful, ashamed, and remorseful that it took Felix to almost lose his life for him to finally know the whole story.

How was he going to mend everything that he broke single handedly, how was he gonna make Felix ever forgive him.
