I couldn't shake off the image of Jaana, my sweet, innocent Jaana, reading about—about—gulps—gun-wielding heroes and their, ahem, 'enthusiastic' love scenes. My mind was still reeling from the shock, my brain cells frantically trying to comprehend how my wife, the queen of our kingdom, could possibly enjoy such...such...dark romance novels.

As I paced around the room, trying to process this new information, I stumbled upon Jaana's bookshelf. And that's when I saw it—a whole collection of similar books, with titles that made my eyes widen in horror: "The Tortured Billionaire's Love Slave," "The Captive's Desire," "The CEO's Forced Affair"...what kind of sorcery was this?!

I felt like I was trapped in a bad joke, with Jaana as the punchline. My wife, the one who always looked so innocent and pure, was secretly a fan of...of...gasp...erotica! I needed a stiff drink, or ten.

Just then, Jaana walked closer, a sly smile spreading across her face. "Abhimaan, what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

I pointed a shaky finger at her bookshelf. "These...these...abominations! How could you, Jaana? How could you betray me like this?"

She burst out laughing, holding her sides. "Oh, Abhimaan, you're so dramatic! They're just books!"

Just books?! Just books?!! I needed to protect my wife from this...this...literary filth!

As Jaana mentioned dinner, I mechanically followed her to the dining hall, my mind still reeling from the revelation about her reading preferences. I couldn't shake off the image of her, my gentle wife, indulging in those...those...dark romance novels. The gun scene from The Haunting Adeline kept playing in my head like a bad loop.

As we sat down at the table, I tried to focus on the conversation, but my thoughts kept drifting back to those books. How could she enjoy reading about such twisted relationships? And what did it say about her own desires?

Jaana chatted away, oblivious to my inner turmoil, discussing Aaryan and Riya's camping trip and their expected return in two days. She spoke as if nothing was amiss, as if we hadn't just discovered a shocking aspect of her reading habits.

I nodded and muttered responses, my mind racing with questions. What else didn't I know about my wife?

As the dinner progressed, I found myself stealing glances at Jaana, searching for any sign of the woman who devoured those dark novels. But all I saw was my loving wife, smiling and laughing, completely at ease.

As I watched Jaana walk out of the dining hall, I couldn't help but smirk to myself. So, she likes dark romance, huh? Well, I've got a surprise for her.

I began to formulate a plan, a mischievous glint in my eye. I would recreate her favorite scenes, but with a twist. I would make them real, and I would be the leading man.

I chuckled to myself, imagining Jaana's reaction when she found out. She thinks she's gotten away with hiding her secret, but little does she know, her husband has a few tricks up his sleeve.
