Later that day

Taylor's POV

"I got a call from Tree earlier, and she, uh, she warned me about some Kimye thing that's going on..."

Joe and I sit at our island counter, eating simple spaghetti hoops.

"ah... what's going on?" His confused face looks like a lost baby deer, it's so adorable!

"He's thinking of writing another song about me, and honestly, I'm tired of all this shit."

"I hate to be that person, but honestly, maybe it's best if you ignore it? It's his wrongdoing, not yours."

"Joe, this isn't something you can just ignore, no matter how much you want to... It's not that simple!!"

"Look, Taylor, last time this happened, it put you in a pretty bad place, I can't see you like that again!"

"This is different, last time... last time this happened I was already in a bad place!" I'm nearly shouting at this point.

Joe sighs. "I'm sorry, I don't wanna fight, I'm just worried about you." He comes over to me and hugs me tightly 'til I'm calm.

Then there's a knock on the door, I go and open it.

"Hey, mom! Hi baby!" I kneel to her level and pick her up. "I missed you so much! How was your trip to the zoo?" She's about 4ft.

"It was so good, we saw a lion!" She loves lions, it's adorable.

"We are having dinner, wanna join us, Mom?"

"Sure honey, what you having?"

"Spaghetti hoops, haha, delicious though." I say as we walk into the house while I'm still holding Inez.

Once I put Inez to bed, I make some more spaghetti hoops for Mom, they're simple and basic, but I've never known anyone who would refuse them.

"Thanks for looking after her while I was out, Mom, it means the world to me that you did!" I slide the spaghetti bowl down the counter to Mom.

"No worries sweetie, I love spending time with her. It's so cute- her obsession with lions."

"Yeah, she's sweet." I sigh softly and smile.

A bit later

"Well, thank you for dinner sweetie, I'd better get back home though... or else Kitty will be wondering where I am! Bye Joey, bye sweetie."

"Bye, mom!"

"Bye, Andrea!"
