Izuku Midoriya has always felt like something was... missing. Like he needed to fulfill something in order to feel whole.
It didn't happen when he was accepted into UA, It didn't happen when he got his hero license, and it certainly didn't happen when he started dating Ochaco Uraraka.
He thought that she was it.. He thought she would be the one who would give his life meaning. Yet he still feels the way he does, empty. And everyday he puts on a mask to keep others from knowing how hollow he is on the inside.
But of course, he has reached the age of 18, and according to his understanding, people who are in relationships get married and have families.. at least that's what his research suggests, Izuku is very smart when it comes to most things, but relationships are not his strong suit due to the fact he's never really felt romantic interest in anyone.
Was he deceiving Ochaco? Maybe. But did he feel bad about it?? Honestly, no. Why? Because he can't really understand what it's like to live in the first place, so he can't really understand how badly his actions would affect someone.
However, it's hard to explain, but Ochaco has been acting a bit more... secretive. She doesn't let him borrow her phone anymore when his runs out of battery. Usually Izuku would have to force himself to be affectionate with Ochaco because she's the one initiating it, but she's been distant with that too.
Izuku may not know much about relationships or intimacy, but he's not stupid. She's up to something.
Izuku has been following Ochaco all day. Was it creepy? Well, typically it would be, but who wouldn't do something like this if they suspected that they are being cheated on?
Eventually Izuku saw her meeting up with someone in the park.
'Kacchan??'
Wow... just wow....
Izuku didn't feel sadness. He felt annoyed. The one he grew up admiring had betrayed him.
Ochaco and Katsuki seemed to be talking before the brunette wrapped her arms around him and leaned in to kiss him.
That's it..
"So.... This explains a whole lot."
Both Ochaco and Katsuki turned to Izuku in shock.
"D-Deku, it's not what it looks like!"
"Save it, Katsuki. I can see now what's happening. And to think I was going to propose to someone who would go behind my back with my childhood best friend."
Ochaco looked in shock.
"P-Propose??"
"Obviously not anymore. I'm done with this. I don't even want to look at you two. Don't ever talk to me again, because I'm not going to be very kind. Have a happy life, you two."
Izuku walked off before they could say a word. How could he be so stupid? To think that he wasted his high school years with someone he couldn't physically love, because she loved him! The day she confessed to him, he felt like if he said no then there would be questions. And if he answered them, he would be seen as a freak.
Oh well... no need to think about it now. He has better things to do.

The night was dark and cold.
Two low time villains stood in an alleyway on the worst side of Musutafu, one where crime and villains overran it due to how little occupants there were.
They looked at the darkest shadows of the alley in fear.
"P-Please boss, we know we lost your money, but we can get it back!"
"Y-Yeah! It's not our fault the cops got to us first!"
A chuckle comes from the shadows.. a deep, bone chilling chuckle.
"You come to me, take a loan, and pay me back. That's how this works. Or Maybe you forgot. I mean.. I can't POSSIBLY think of a reason why you pathetic BONEHEADS can't just.. do your god damn job right!"
The chuckling turns into maniacal laughter.
"But then again... what else can I expect? You two are just.. not cut out for villainy."
"N-Now wait a minute—"
The figure cuts them off.
"Bush now, Alice..... it's time to pay the price... welcome to wonderland~"
A gloved hand holds out two cards, each with the face of one of the trembling goons.
Another gloved hand comes out and burns the cards with a lighter.
The two villains fall to their knees, feeling weak. It's as if their bodies have lost all energy. One of the men hold up their hands... nothing happens.
"M-My quirk! I c-can't use my quirk!!"
"M-Me neither!"
The alleyway seems to turn darker and black tendrils come from the shadows, the slimy feeling of them as they wrapped around the men was almost as horrid as the smell.
Their screams echoed through the night..
Never to be heard by the heroes who dedicated their careers to save those in danger.
