The Kirammans' residence, March 31st, 07:39 AM
Feeling her skin warm and the sunlight bothering her still-closed eyes, Caitlyn sighed slowly as she opened them cautiously, seeing the light coming from the only crack in her window hitting her full in the face. She rose a little in the bed but was stopped by a strong arm around her waist, bringing her back to the covers. Blue giggled, stroking the arm that held her in its warm grip. She turned to face her wife's sleepy face drooling on the pillow, which made her smile and give her a series of kisses on her forehead, eyelids, and the tip of her nose, in an extremely delicate and gentle way.
- Hmmm... Cait... - Vi whimpered, trying to ignore the touches of blue that insisted on waking her up.
- Good morning, sleepyhead, it's time to wake up. - Although she said that, she wanted to snuggle up in the pink girl's arms and stay in bed with her. - The alarm didn't go off, we're going to have to get ready in a hurry.
- Do we have to? It's just an Easter party.
- But you know there's someone who wants to go to this party, and you know what a tantrum she throws when it comes to sweets.
- Pff, that's all this holiday is about, right? - Vi said, sitting down against the headboard next to the blue girl next to her. - Can't we go later? It's Sunday.
- We have to go to the market to buy the ingredients for the festival. Because someone should have bought them last time if they hadn't forgotten.
- I've already apologized for that.
- Your excuse will be to go and buy the ingredients this morning. - Caitlyn said, turning away while Vi sat up in bed, almost closing her eyes from sleep.
- But why does it have to be so early?
- If you take too long, there'll be a huge queue at the market. It's a public holiday and there's also -
- Mom! Mom! - A high-pitched voice from the other side of the door came as it was quickly opened and a little violet-haired girl jumped on the bed on top of Vi.
- Ugh! Cely! Calm down! - Vi exclaimed as her belly was crushed by her daughter
- Good morning, my love. - Caitlyn said, stroking Celestine's hair as she hugged Vi's torso.
- Good morning, Mom!
- Do you know what day it is?
- It's Easter! - The girl shouted, this time throwing herself on top of her other mother, being hugged by Caitlyn while Vi watched on smiling and running her hand over her abdomen, which had just been attacked by the little girl. - I can't wait to see what yummy Easter eggs we're going to eat!
- We'll have time for that, but we have to do something else after we wake up. What do we have to do?
- Hum? Brush our teeth? - Little Kiramman scratched her chin.
- That's right, congratulations. Vi, go into the bathroom and brush your teeth with her, I'll set the table for coffee. - Caitlyn got up from the bed with her daughter holding her left hand.
- It's okay Cupcake. - Vi, still rubbing her eyelids, went over to the taller one and gave her a deep kiss.
- Ew! Don't kiss! - Cely exclaimed, protesting against their mother's kissing, which got a laugh from both of them. After doing their business, they went to the dining room to have breakfast. After the meal, Cely and Vi got ready to leave and, before leaving, Caitlyn went up to them with a piece of paper in her hands.
- Don't forget to come home as soon as possible, after we finish the egg we'll take everything to the party, okay? You have to arrive with the egg ready and before four in the afternoon. I'll go and help my mother tidy up and then I'll come back to help you finish the recipe.
