Are We Friends??

As the three arrived they walked into the school building. Kam went one way and Asia and Aalliyah went another way. Asia and Alliyah made it to their lockers while making small talk with one another.

"girll i heard it's some new student that's  supposed to be coming today" Alliyah notified Asia. She hummed in response remembering hearing about the new student she just hope they didn't ask her to show them around. Asia was friendly but she wasn't a people person but it is what it is. She knew she could only really trust Aalliyah because walking up and down these halls. People just don't get a break. "well i just hope i don't have to show him or her around" she said snapping out of her thoughts. "well me personally i hope it's a fine sexy chocolate boy" Aalliyah said excitedly sticking her tongue out. All Asia could do was shake her head because she knew her best friend was serious. She wouldn't say she was boy crazy which was a good thing but she liked what she liked.

Soon the bell rung snapping her out of her thoughts. "Okay best imma see you at lunch boo" Aalliyah said before walking away. Asia nodded in agreement as she walked away from her best friend. Since Asia was at the top of her classes all her classes were more advanced like Honors and AP classes her best friend on the hand was smart but she only had some Honor classes. Asia eventually made her way to her first period class which was American government she sat in the far row close to the window in the second seat. She sat down in her seat and began to pull out her folder along with a pen and some notebook paper because her teacher loved to assign notes.

Soon the bell rung indicating that class was about to start she sat there staring out the window as the school announcements played loudly through the intercom.

"Goodmorning students and happy Wednesday were half way through the week whoop whoop" the principal continued until he was finished. "have a great day Jaguars" Once the announcements were over Ms.hamoltion took roll. "jay??" "Here" the boy said.. "samual??" "Here" another boy said. "Amiyah??" "Here" the girl said. " A'nastasia..??A'nastasia??...excuse me miss hicks??" the teacher said aloud. Snapping Asia from her daze she had on the window "Oh i'm sorry i'm here Ms.hamoltion" She just smiled and nodded in response until they were interrupted by a *knock knock kno-* Ms.hamoltion opened the door revealing a tall dark figure. Asia eyed the door as the boy began to walk in and they locked eyes with each other.

Asia wasn't the type to sugar coat or lie but he was fine..He was tall and darkskin standing at about 6'0 he had a nice frame with muscles looked liked he played a sport or ran track she didn't know that though he had locs and he was dressed calm in a all black nike tech set with the same new balance 2002 r that asia had. She quickly look away after looking him up and down feeling like she was starting as he put his attention back on Ms.hamoltion.

"Excuse me i haven't seen you here before what's your name??" Ms.hamoltion asked the boy as she seen his attention was back on her. " Oh me yea my bad i'm new here but my name's Jahmaal Walker" he said handing her his schedule.. "ahhh i see your the new student all the administration had been talking about" He just chuckled at what she had said " well it says here that Asia will be showing you around today" pointing at asia who wasn't really paying attention. "Miss Hicks??" she called out. "yes ma'am??" she looked between her and the boy. As she thought about it she already knew they were going to make her show the new boy around she let out a low sigh getting up from her seat.

She walked over to the two with a slight smile again eyeing the boy that just had walked in. It was no doubt that he looked good but she didn't wanna get caught staring all the other girls were already tryna be all over him but that's a story for another day. "Hey A'nastasia this is Jahmaal and you'll be showing him around today it seems you guys had the same scheduled anyway" Asia just nodded and glanced at the boys schedule as it was being handed back to him. "well since i know you'll be able to catch up in class you can leave now and start showing him around" Asia and they boy nodded in unison as she walked over to gather her things and they walked out of the class with the boy right behind her.

After walking for a little bit to Asia's locker they boy decided to speak up because they were walking in silence. "Hey i'm Jahmaal A'nastasia right??" he spoke up. "yea that my name" she said taking a quick glance at him. "well are you gonna show me around or are we just gonna walk in silence??" he questioned She chuckled and shook her head in response "yea imma show you around just wanted to put my back pack up" He nodded in response with a smirk "Can i put mine in there to??" the boy questioned  She nodded and stood to the side as he placed his things in her locker slightly admiring how  good he looked. Asia wasn't the type to be attracted to a boy especially since the ones at her school weren't really all that special if you ask her they all acted alike which she hated but something about Jahmaal caught her attention...she just didn't know what it was. She looked up snapping out of her thoughts realizing she was just staring at Jahmaal. He chuckled looking down at her making her speak aloud "anyways uhh jahmaal you ready??" He chuckled and nodded in response "You can really just call me Jah fr" shrugging his shoulders. "Ok Jah well let's go" she nodded as they walked down the hall some more.

10 Minutes Later
As asia walked in front of Jah she began to tell him where we would find his classes and the cafeteria, the auditorium, the gym, and the track.
There school wasn't really that big once you really got the gist of where everything was at but it was a pretty decent size with a good amount of students. North Central High School was know for there sports the football team won almost every game and the same with basketball and their track team always went to states and win almost every time. Asia ran track her freshman and sophomore year hence her slim body shape but she quit because in her opinion her coach did too much and made her not love the sport anymore. As the two walked they began to make small talk once they made it outside to the track.

"Sooo Jah what brings you to North Central??" She asked aloud while quickly looking at his pretty brown eyes before putting her eyes back on the scenery it was a very beautiful day if you asked her. Then Jah began to speak snapping her from her daze "Sports to be honest i play football and run track but i don't play football anymore" He spoke honestly it was true Jah played football and ran track but her felt like he only played football just because of his dad but he stopped and started focusing more on track her was one of the top 10 in the nation and he'd like to keep it that way that's how he was at north central anyway he was asked to come and run track for them when he was at one of the meets and he didn't hesitate to take the offer especially since things weren't so good at home he'd rather be gone at school doing something he loved his dad became a alcoholic it was like it happened overnight and his parents argued everyday and night. That's why he would just go and leave the house while his parents went at it and run the track it was like his peace and breath of fresh air..Asia spoke again aloud making Jah look down at her "I kinda figured that's why you were here that's why a lot of people come here but you seem like your smart as well so i guess we'll see" putting a slight smile on her face. She pulled out her phone reading the time "oh damn it's almost 9:45 we can go back now since you got first lunch you can just come with me it's just me and my best friend" He nodded "alright bet". The two walked back to Asia's locker grabbing their things and making their way to the next class.
