That night, Meena had decided to go to her parents' house, seeking solace in the one place she felt completely safe. She poured out her heart to them, recounting the harrowing events with Thanawat and the painful confrontation with Aoom.

Mr. Rina, being one of the most influential figures in Asia, wasted no time in getting to the bottom of what happened. He mobilized his resources and demanded immediate answers, determined to make Thanawat pay for what he had done to his daughter.

The next morning, Mr. Rina sat down with Meena in the living room, his face a mask of controlled fury. "Meena," he began, his voice firm but gentle, "we've located Thanawat. He admitted to drugging you and taking you to his hotel room, but he claims he didn't do anything beyond that. He said he just left you there."

Meena felt a mix of relief and anger. Relief that nothing more had happened, but anger at the violation and the fear she had endured. "He admitted it?" she asked, her voice trembling.

Mr. Rina nodded, his eyes hard. "Yes, he admitted it. He said he wanted to create a scandal between the two of you because his career is failing. He thought it would get him back in the spotlight."

Meena's mother, Mrs. Rina, sat beside her, holding her hand. "We won't let this go unpunished, Meena. Your father is already taking steps to ensure he faces the consequences."

Meena nodded, grateful for her parents' support, but her mind was still clouded by the hurtful words Aoom had said. "Mom, Dad... Aoom. She accused me of cheating on her with Thanawat. She said some really painful things."

Mrs. Rina squeezed her hand reassuringly. "Aoom is just blinded by jealousy right now, dear. She'll come to her senses eventually. But you need to take care of yourself first."

Meena sighed, feeling the weight of the past few months pressing down on her. "I think I need some time to think and rest. There's been too much that has happened lately."

Her parents exchanged a concerned look, understanding the gravity of her decision but knowing they needed to support her. "What do you want to do, Meena?" Mr. Rina asked.

"I'm leaving Thailand for a bit," Meena said, her voice resolute. "Please sell my apartment. I'll move to a different place when I get back. I won't be gone for too long, I promise."

Mr. Rina nodded, his heart heavy but supportive. "I'll call the private pilot and have the jet ready for you."

Meena made her way to her room to pack her things, her heart aching from the hurtful things Aoom had said. She felt betrayed and lost, unsure of what the future held but knowing she needed space to heal.

Within minutes, Meena was on her way to the airport, her parents' comforting words still echoing in her mind. As the jet prepared for takeoff, she looked out the window, her thoughts swirling with confusion and pain. She hoped the time away would help her find clarity and peace.

Back at Aoom's apartment..

Aoom woke up with the worst hangover she had ever experienced. The pounding in her head was relentless, and every movement felt like a struggle. She groaned as she sat up in bed, trying to piece together the fragments of the previous night.

In the kitchen, Ice was making breakfast, the smell of bacon and eggs filling the apartment. When she heard Aoom's door creak open, she looked up and saw her friend stumbling out of her bedroom, looking pale and disheveled.

"You're awake now?" Ice asked, a mix of concern and relief in her voice. "How are you feeling?"

Aoom rubbed her temples, wincing at the pain. "Terrible. My head feels like it's splitting open."
