After her flight from her trip, Amanda arrived home. I missed her smile and face every time she was at home with me, so I was overjoyed to see her.
I held a bouquet of flowers and gave Amanda a big fat kiss on her cheek. I lifted her up and carried her to bed.
I lay beside her on the bed and asked her the usual questions about her trip and match; she did not seem to want to talk about it, so I changed the subject.
She received a text from someone on her phone and did not even acknowledge me. Amanda immediately went to that phone, blushing and grinning. I was annoyed since I could not tell who was making her blush; perhaps I was exaggerating and it was simply her coworkers. After seven years of marriage, I do not think she would cheat on me or want to end it in favor of another man.
I stormed out of the room and went downstairs to get some beer from the refrigerator as soon as I realized she was not paying attention. A few mins went by, I was wasted. I wanted to be intimate with Amanda; perhaps that is why she was stressed because we had not had sex in so long!
I went upstairs and returned to the room, attempting to have sex, but she was uninterested, which was unusual for her and irritated me. I became frustrated and grabbed the pillow from my side of the bed before heading down to the couch in the living room. I was lying on the couch in the living room, wondering if Amanda was having an affair.
I could smell the male cologne on her when I greeted her earlier after her trip. I did not approach her because I wanted her to be offended by the accusation and to avoid a fight.
I am beginning to think that she might be cheating on me if my intuition is right. I may need to hire a private investigator to verify my suspicions and find out if Amanda is cheating. I just need to know.
