"I'm home" I yell out as I walk through the front door, I take my black converse off and walk up the stairs in my kitten patterned socks I walk to my room and grab my history book I begin to read it again.
"How was your day sweetie?" Says my mother as she walks into my room while drying her hands with a tea towel, obviously just washed the dishes.
"It was ok I got an A on my English assignment" I say still covering my face with the book.
"What happened?" Says mum as she pulls the book down she gasps as she spots the split lip and small gash on my cheek.
"I walked into a pole?" I say trying to convince her.
"You did not, who did this to your face?" She demands as she goes to my bathroom to get the band aids.
"Courtney Allswell" I say almost at a whisper.
"Courtney? No she wouldn't do anything like that she's so sweet. Who actually did it Katalina? And no more lying" she says while putting a band aid on my cheek.
"It was Courtney mum. I'm not lying." I say as she finishes up with the band aid.
"Why do you lie! This isn't the girl I raised. I did not raise a liar. If you tell me one more lie you're sleeping out side again" she yells while pointing out the window.
"This is what I hate mum I tell you what or who actually happened and you don't believe me why am I unbelievable? Or do you think I'm just plain stupid who doesn't know names properly. This is the reason why I don't tell you what happened" I yell back while quickly standing up.
"Well maybe if you didn't blame it on some innocent girl who wouldn't do such a thing. Maybe, just maybe I would believe you" yells back mum.
"She isn't innocent mum, she's the devils spawn. You wouldn't believe how many girls she beats up bullies or makes fun of. She is the cockiest b!tch anyone could ever meet. It's a disguise the whole innocent girl act." I scream. I feel her slap me in the face I fall instantly at the surprise hit I look up at my monster of a mother.
" I want to see you down stairs in five minutes your father and I need to tell you something." She says as she storms out of my room.
