I FELT LIKE I HAD BEEN SLEEPING AN enteral slumber, my eyelids were so heavy it was almost like they were replaced with bricks.

I could feel the goosebumps on my pale-fragile skin but the lower half of my body was warmed by a thin blanket.

The familiar sounds of machine beeping made me aware of where I was before I even managed to open my eyes.

Here I was again in a hospital.

The corner of my eyes were blurred like a horrible cracked camera, as a sat up the ends of the hospital gown rose, reminding me of pain i endured.

My feet couldn't feel the horrible sensation that was the cold tiles of the hospital floor thanks to the socks placed on my feet.

I peaked my head out of the door and saw nurses walking around pushing machines that weighed more than them, normal people visiting their un normal loved ones, and a strange blue haired girl sobbing.

"Malinda, calm down, were gonna find him I promise." A dark-toned girl reassured her, gripping her hands to prevent her from hurting herself.

"I need him! I need him now!" She cried and cried and cried.

I dreaded seeing people cry. I hated the stupid sounds they made and ugly faces, I have no empathy in my heart for crybabies.

"You're finally awake, sleepy head."

The sudden voice caused my body to flinch. Standing in front of me was a red-haired medium sized woman who smelled of cookies.

She held a large smile on her as she stared down at me. My mouth remained closed as if it was glued shut.

"Not a talker I see. That's okay, come follow me you're right on time for breakfast." She informed, wrapped her fingers around my boney wrist.

I walked along with her like a child with their mother. I was addicted to her fragrance, it reminded me of being a little girl.

The hospital's cafeteria was like any other. There was a bunch of kids no older than 17 filling up the seats of the tables, some wore gowns like me but other wore shirts with the same name on it and sweatpants with no strings.

East Highland Asylum

I knew why I was here, I overdosed off of something and my stepmother finally got enough of my bullshit, it didn't surprise me that my father agreed with her decision to send me away because he was a bitch.

What I didn't know was how long I was gonna be in this shit hole.

"Hey, little red ridding hood, over here!" A girl wearing the Asylum's shirt called out.

It was obvious she was referring to me because I was the only one with box-dyed red hair.

I walked over to the table that contained three other girls, a blonde haired girls with perky boobs that was visible through the shirt, a short haired girl who had a gown like me and a oversized girl with ginger hair.
