Amelia heals Ryan's nose as Victor helps clean up Ryan's bloodied face. "You need to keep your emotions in check, Ryan." The blood stops dripping down, and she takes out the blood clot that formed in his nostril. A little bit more came out but stopped soon. "Hmm, Ryan, how would you feel if your nose was a bit crooked your whole life?"

"WHAT! What do you mean by crooked?!" He quickly goes over to a mirror on the wall and checks his nose out. It was slightly crooked, going off to the right slightly. He touched it hesitantly. He didn't want this, but now he must deal with a nose that isn't straight anymore. Amelia looked at him. She was concerned but tried to cheer him up. "Oh, come on, you look great! Look at Victor. His nose is crooked, and well, I mean, he isn't with anyone as of right now," she said, pointing at him with her thumb since she was in front of him.

"Hey! My nose is not that bad looking!" He felt offended that she made that remark to him. Ryan stared at his face while Amelia went over to Victor. "Give me your hands. I need to heal them." She said in a plain tone. Victor sighs and says sure and takes out his slightly burned hands. Amelia heals them by holding them underneath. "Your kind have to be careful around Ryan, he-"

"He is my student, and I will treat him as such. Do not call him dangerous to me ever again." He was serious and stern about this because Ryan is his son, but no one in the school knows except Petra. Ryan is unaware that his teacher is his father. "Dang, since when have you been so protective of him?" She and Victor have been conversing quietly to prevent Ryan from overhearing. Victor stared at her, making eye contact. He was NOT happy with this. Sometimes, Victor can be threatening without realizing it. (Which is an issue he is working on, a bad habit.) But Victor knows how to be that precisely when he needs to be, especially when it comes to Victor's students. His expression softens when he sees Ryan coming over. Ryan wants to check to see how his hands are doing. "Almost done?"

"Y-Yeah, almost done here!" Her voice was slightly shaky. She had never seen Victor act like that, outside or inside the school campus. This behavior was new to Amelia. She made a mental note not to say anything rude about Ryan around Victor. Ryan noticed how Amelia was acting, "You, alright. Amelia?"

"Oh yes, I'm a little tired since my healing process can be energy-consuming!" She gave an uncomfortable wide smile. She knew better now than to try to say stuff she wasn't supposed to say, especially if she wasn't in the right to do so. Amelia then looked at Victor's hands. She saw that there were already old burn scars. Amelia was confused. She had never noticed them before. Amelia remembered she had cleaned his hands with disinfectant before she healed his hands. And saw some makeup come off them. She took a closer look. "Hey, Victor. Have these scars always been here?" She traced her finger on the shape of it. It looked like a long star on his palm. His hand was massive in comparison to her hands, considering he was either 6'8" or 6'9" tall. Victor pulled his hand away, "Bad accident a few years back. That's all. Accidentally had the stove gas on." He quickly told her, wanting to dismiss this interaction.

Amelia shrugged as she saw him get up and brush his pants. "Are you ready to head back to class, Ryan?" He asked him as he felt his hands, adjusting to them being healed so quickly by Amelia's healing powers. Ryan was looking through his pockets, cleaning the lent out. "Oh- yeah, I'm ready!" He smiled as he stood next to him. "Thank you for healing me, Amelia!"

"Of course! Anytime Ryan. But please be more careful. OK?"

"I do my best to stay not burned!" Ryan started to leave. Victor said thank you and waved goodbye as he ducked the door frame. "He's going to hit his head on that frame one of those days..." She muttered to herself as she went back to count the medications.

                         (Transition.)

Ryan and Victor walked down the long hallway. Ryan was touching the bridge of his nose, trying to get used to it being slightly uneven now. It felt weird, but he knew, eventually. He was going to adjust just fine to the nose.
