Chapter 4

"Entwined mafia souls"

Lilly's mind is still flooded from the night before—the way Elizabeth tasted, the way Elizabeth's hands wrapped around her throat as she fucked her, leaving behind a tingling sensation that still lingers on her skin. Every time she thinks about it, she always brushes her thumb on her pink lips to recreate the feeling of the mafia boss's taste.

Lilly is dressed in a loose black blouse tucked in dark blue jeans that hug her curves in all the right places. Her long, flowing red hair cascaded over her shoulders, adding to her air of effortless confidence.

Lilly got out of the room and went downstairs. Once down there, she saw Maria sitting there eating some berries, her marks still visible on her neck. "Is that a bite mark?" Lilly asked

Maria could only smirk and say, "Maaybe." Lilly rolled her eyes and said, "Ayax couldn't keep his hands off you, hm?" Maria simply chuckled, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she replied, "Well, Ayax just couldn't resist me. Can you blame him?" Lilly shook her head in amusement, knowing that Maria always had a way of getting what she wanted. 

Maria was always the center of attention, and she will be that way for Ayax. "I mean, the marks on your body say a lot," Lily said with a chuckle with her arms crossed. Maria looked close at Lilly's neck, which is full of hickies, and said, "And what about you, huh? I see the mafia boss did wonders on your throat." Maria said, having Lilly roll her eyes. 

"She got a little carried away, that's all." 

"Carried away is a bit of an understatement, sweetheart." A familiar voice said, Lilly and Maria turn to see none other than the mafia boss herself, Elizabeth. "I guess so," Lily replied before feeling the mafia boss's hands behind her back. 

As Lily gazes at Elizabeth, she notices the all black outfit she's wearing: a black button up, black pants, and black boots, along with her belt that has a holster that holds her gun. Every time she's with the mafia boss, she almost feels the mafia boss's true power emanating from her. Of course, she sees greatness in Elizabeth, even though she knows that power can be easily corrupted, as well as hatred for her "idiot" henchmen, except Ayax, who's more loyal to Elizabeth than any of her men. 

"Elizabeth, can I talk to you alone?" Lilly asked Elizabeth. "of course." Elizabeth and Lilly leave the kitchen and go to where they are in the hallway. "Ayax seems more loyal to you than the rest of your men. How come?" Lilly asked, wondering about his unwavering loyalty. "Because he's been with me since the beginning," Elizabeth replied, with a sense of gratitude in her voice. "He was abandoned by his ex girlfriend and had nowhere else to go." "So he worked for you in the mafia," Lilly said, connecting the dots. 

Lilly's intelligence impressed Elizabeth. "That's right, love." Elizabeth said with crossed arms, "You know, you seem very intelligent for a girl like you." Elizabeth's compliment made Lilly chuckle, looking down and then back at the tall woman. "Well, I'm not that intelligent." "But I do have a knack for figuring things out," Lilly added with a smirk. Elizabeth nodded in agreement, impressed by Lilly's quick thinking. 

"To me, you have the perfect combination of intelligence and creativity," Elizabeth added, with a smirk on her face. "Well, for the mafia's sake, I'll take it," Lilly said as she bit her lip, which made Elizabeth feel a surge of lust ripple through her body. The way Lilly's lips curled around those words sent a shiver down Elizabeth's spine. 

"Let's just hope it doesn't get you into too much trouble," Elizabeth replied, trying to hide her growing attraction to Lilly. "Oh, I'm sure I can handle whatever comes my way," Lilly said confidently, causing Elizabeth to chuckle. "From the way you speak to me, Lilly, I'm taking this as you're staying."
