"Oh, good, you're up," Rory said and went to Briar's desk to start looking over the stuff on it.
Briar asked, "What are you looking for?"
"I can't find my Macy Gray CD," Rory told her.
"I don't have it," Briar replied, getting up and grabbing her messenger bag.

She adjusted her red sweater and her blue beaded, Famine, bracelet. It was an in-joke with her and three friends, Jillian "Jill" Belleville, Vivienne Dell, and Lisette "Lizzie" Danes.
