Pt 8 - What are you? -

Owen POV

I saw that scary and horrifying creature that looked like a demon. it was black and had one eye. I immediately ran as fast as I could down hallways. some books and magazines were knocked down to stop me. but I dodged them. It did somersaults while I ran by.

I came to a door where I don't know which door it was the good one. I then suddenly saw a blue light. what was it? I decided maybe it was a guide where to go. I ran into the door and knew where I was. I looked back to see the thing wasn't anywhere, but I know it's behind me still.

I continue running before suddenly I tripped. I fall on a stone that hurt my foot real bad. I groaned in pain and held my foot. I looked to my left side and saw a photo of some little girl with long red hair and glasses but looked blind.

I heard the footsteps got bigger. I don't know what to do now, my foot was hurting a lot. I couldn't get up and limp because I'll get killed. I thought maybe if I give it or throw photo at the creature, maybe it was distracted it.

I grabbed the photo and was ready to throw it at it. I saw it, it was coming close. I immediately threw it at it and it catches it. oh shit! I'm so dead now!

I closed my eyes, I was sure I was going to die now. was this it? am I really going to die today?

I didn't feel anything, or if I'm not supposed to after I die. I took a peek to see I'm still in the hotel. I looked up to see the black one eye creature not killing me, why? I'm right here to be slaughtered and my organs to be eaten. but looking at it.

It looked sad, looking at the photo of the little girl. "Ash..." I went shocked to hear the voice of the creature. I didn't move, I was scared it will just kill me still. but it looked down at me. I froze and waited to see what it will do.

"Where did you find this?" It gave me a curious look but a half angry sound. I didn't say anything, should I?

"Um... I found it right there, just b-b-before you came" I was worried and still scared of this thing. Me and it just stared at each other for a few seconds before something came out behind it.

Some black long tentacles or something grabbed me and lift me up. "I want you to TELL me... WHY.ARE.YOU.HERE?" The black one creature gave a mad look, like it was angry I came to this abandoned hotel. I shake in fear, I was sweating and almost crying of fear.

"How did you find this PLACE?" It asked me. I grabbed a knife and put it near my throat. "H-h-h-h-hey calm down! I-uhh- I came here to look for my friend Andy. he-umm, he has brown hair, he wore a red hoodie, light brown pants and wore black and white shoes!" I gave info about Andy.

"I'm not asking about that... why are you HERE, how did you find this HOTEL?" I felt the knife on my throat. I knew he was about to kill me if I didn't give the right answer.

"Look, that's why I'm here, he gave me the location of this hotel. I'm here to find my friend, that's all and I'll be out of here!" I grabbed the knife and threw it away. but then he grabbed me by the neck. pulling close to his face.

"If I find out your lying to me and your only here to try to tell the world about us... I'll rip the organs from your STOMACH and feed it to my friends..." I was horrified by his voice. like he was messing around at all.

"It's true! I promise I don't lie!" I tried convincing him. but he wasn't falling for it. "I guess I have to end you..." his back one tentacles grabbed a axe. I closed my eyes, I was scared already. I knew I'll die.

"Son, that's enough" I heard a voice. I open my eyes and me and him look ahead and saw a red tall thing that also had one eye with blue pants. and white horns sticking out of its Body.

"I can take it from here" it walked over and looked down at me. the black one eye thing let me go as I fall to the floor. "I'm sorry about what my son did. he can be a bit protective of our home because humans out there hate us and don't respect demons or monsters" he lad out his hand to help me up. I stood up and looked at him.

"Um.. who- what are- who are you two?" I asked a bit scared still. I never seen anything like them in my life. "I know it's shocking and scary to see creatures like us, but don't fear, he won't hurt you. as long you don't say a word to the world about us. ok?" He asked me.

I was speechless still but open my mouth. "Who are you?" I asked again. he sighed softly. "My name is alone. this is seek, my son" so that's his name? alone, and this one seek.

"Yours?" He asked me. "Oh, uh- Owen. Owen Peter" I introduced myself to them. "Well... I guess it's nice to meet you Owen, it's been years since we ever saw a human. no one ever dared to go past the sign" alone crossed his arms.

"Sign" oh... yeah. It took like forever to get through the woods, like it's 20 minutes long. like jeez hahah a long ass path" I suggest and nervously chuckled. "I feel yeah kid" Alone put his hand on my shoulder. god I can feel his sharp claws on my shoulder. I can feel shivers going down my spine.

"Well, since you're here. you said you wanna find your friend?" Alone asked me. I gave a slow nod.

"Alright, son you in?" He asked his son. he crossed his arms and his eye looked away. "Sure... I guess, but you better not try anything human. us entitles don't trust humans but some others think their actions are normal" seek threaten me a bit. "w-w-w-will do!" I stuttered.

"Well... let's be off" alone started walking off as me and seek followed behind. I can feel seek wanted to put a hole through my soul. I guess he didn't trust or liked me at all.
