Chapter:02

Ava
"Bro what-" my bestfriend, Aida stared at me with widened eyes while I take a sip of my Espresso.

"You called your boss I mean the owner of the company you were about to interview a manner less idiot? Hats off Ava," she claps.

"What else was I supposed to say? He was being an asshole and he has this big ego, I swear. I had to teach him a lesson!"

Aida laughs.

"So what is his name? Is he handsome?" She asks me and takes a sip of her shake.
"Vyvyan Demetriou-"

Aida chokes on her shake and starts coughing. I quickly go behind her and rub her back.

"Are you really okay? Do we need to visit the hospital?" I ask her when she signs me that she is alright.
"Nope, we don't have to," she replies and I look at her concerned. But she signals me to go back to my seat.

"So you called Vyvyan Demetriou a manner less idiot and he didn't kill you yet? Wait are you Ava's soul? Lemme check." With that she pinches me on my arms making me wince in pain.

"What do you think you are doing? And how are you able to see me if I was dead?" I ask irritated. I guess everyone wants to get on my nerves today.

"Probably God knows you love me way to much and you have no one other than me on earth. After all I keep all of your secrets safe with me," Aida says.

I glare at her.

"How do you know him?" I narrow my eyes at her suspiciously while my best friend replies me back with a done look.

"You know what you really don't deserve to be a tenant of earth. Who the fuck doesn't know him?" Aida shakes her head.

"You are talking as if he is the president of The USA," I say rolling my eyes.

"Dumbass, do you know that all the advanced security technologies the president and the other VIPs use are all invented by his company, Demetriou.Corp? Then the new software which is trending on the market, surpassing Microsoft and Apple has also been invented by his company and the new laptop you bought last week and said it's better than Mac by the way is also made by  his company," Aida finishes making my jaw drop to the floor.

I had heard about a company taking over the market in a short span of time. It's gaining a lot of popularity for it's advanced technologies.

"He is an icon to the younger generation. Whatever he's achieved at this early age is quite impressive. Nothing stopped him from reaching the peak of success."

"Well that's pretty impressive but he needs to work on his behavior. I don't care what he's achieved and what he has not," I take another sip of my Espresso.

Aida sighs.
"You are lucky that you are sitting infront of me safe and sound. Because he doesn't let anybody go like that. Last time a company tried to steal their data and they had to pay a hefty price for it."

I look at her curiously, wanting to know what happened with them.

"Go and search them up in Goggle and see if you can find a trace of their company. Because he destroyed them brutally. He is destructive, Ava. If he wants something, he makes sure to get it. He is quite known for his ruthlessness and for being emotionless.
