Jonaki slowly made her way along the crowded hallway and approached her classroom with apprehension. She checked the time on her watch and took a deep breath to steel her nerves before entering the classroom. The familiar sound of her fellow students talking, laughing, and singing welcome her as she entered the room. She quickly looked in all directions to find an available seat
She walked to the back of the room and scanned the room for a seat at an empty desk. The class was abuzz with activity as students settled into their desks and checked their phones, eager to begin the day. Jonaki scanned the room, searching for a seat at an empty desk, hoping to be among those who could choose their own seat. The sounds of chatter and laughter echoed throughout the room, filling Jonaki's ears with the warm memories of her past school days. As she found an empty seat at that back of the room, she breathed a sigh of relief and prepared herself to take part in the day's lessons. The sound of chatter grows louder as the desk in front of Jonaki is occupied. She adjusts her bag on her lap, turns to face the class, and waits for any sign from the teacher that the day has started. As she scans her fellow students, her eyes meet those of Bhuban, who smiles kindly at her. Jonaki feels nervous, but her curiosity is piqued and she can't help but smile back as she finds herself face to face with the boy she has secretly been pining over. As the students shift to make room on their desks for their books and note-filled binders, Jonaki reaches in her backpack and pulls out the textbook she carried to class. She flips through its pages and searches for yesterday's assignment, finding the instructions on the last page. She takes a deep breathe and tries to steady herself, but the lingering feeling of nervousness is hard to shake. She glances over at Bhuban again and smiles before turning away, taking a breath to calm herself before diving into the material. As Jonaki continues to follow along, she can't help but notice several of her classmates whispering and pointing in her direction. She tries to ignore it, but she feels the whispers and stares growing in intensity as the teacher takes the stage and begins the day's lecture. She feels her throat tighten as the class falls silent and she tries to concentrate on the teacher's voice, hoping it will serve as a distraction from the unwanted attention. As Jonaki tries to absorb the lecture, her head starts to pound with a headache. Her vision is beginning to grow blurry, and her heart is pounding in her chest as she struggles to focus on the lecture. She clutches her notes tightly and tries to breathe deep in an attempt to calm herself. Her head hurts painfully, but she refuses to let herself falter. She keeps her eyes on the board, determined to keep calm and stay focused, but soon the pain becomes too much to bear. Jonaki reaches for her water bottle and takes a sip, hoping it will help to ease her unease. Her hands tremble ever so slightly as she lifts the bottle to her mouth. She can feel her heart flutter and her breaths grow increasingly shallow, like a bird trapped beneath her ribcage. Without realizing it, she starts to hyperventilate and struggles to control her breathing. Her thoughts become fuzzy and her mind feels like it's spinning out of control as she feels like she's unable to breathe. Fear begins to creep up her spine as she tries to stay conscious of her surroundings, but everything starts to seem distant. She starts to feel dizzy and her heart rate spikes even higher. Suddenly, she begins to lose her vision and everything turns to black. As the world around her fades away, Jonaki is left in a state of complete darkness. She struggles to remain conscious and tries to fight off the feeling of being consumed by darkness. Her heart races as she tries to take in air and fight back the overwhelming feeling of fear. But no matter how hard she tries, Jonaki feels like she is losing control. Her body is starting to feel weak and her head feels disoriented. As Jonaki struggles to breathe, the darkness around her seems to become thicker, enveloping her in a sense of impending doom. Her thoughts are in a haze and she is unable to make sense of anything going on around her. She tries to reach out for help, but no one can hear her. Jonaki feels as though she is slowly sinking into the dark abyss, and she can't escape. In a moment of pure panic and desperation, Jonaki reaches out for help as darkness closes in. Suddenly, Bhuban's hands appear out of nowhere and firmly grasp her arms, pulling her out of the void. Her heart races and she struggles to take in a breath, but Bhuban's presence brings her comfort and security, helping her to calm down. He holds her in his arms as they walk towards the school nurse's office, her vision still hazy but gradually starting to return. They enter the nurse's office and sit down, Jonaki still shaking slightly and struggling to catch her breath. As the nurse approaches, Jonaki feels the darkness start to lift and her vision finally clears up. She looks at Bhuban with wide eyes and a shaky smile, grateful for his help. He smiles back at her and the nurse checks her pulse and blood pressure. After a few minutes, she is given a glass of water and a few tablets. After her visit to the nurse's office, Jonaki feels much better. She has been given water and a few painkillers which have helped to calm her nerves and steady her breath. She is relieved to see that her vision has returned to normal, and she feels grateful for Bhuban's help. He joins her outside nd Jonaki and Bhuban's walk through the school corridor, Bhuban turns away to head to his class. Jonaki follows a little distance away, observing him as he walks. She notices that he seems to be ignoring her, and a feeling of disappointment washes over her. Suddenly, Jonaki realizes that she had forgotten to ask Bhuban for his civics notes. She quickly catches up with him and calls out to him, but he continues to walk and seems to not hear her at all. Jonaki feels herself getting nervous as she gets closer to Bhuban, feeling unsure of herself and whether she should keep calling out to him. She takes a deep breath and calls out one last time, louder this time, and it finally catches his attention. He stops and turns to her with a stunned expression, confused as to why she is following him. Jonaki stumbles for words for a moment, embarrassed by his reaction, but eventually manages to gather herself and asks him for his civics notes so she could study before the upcoming test. He says "I don't have any notes", Jonaki feels even more embarrassed and disappointed when Bhuban tells her that he doesn't have his civics notes in his locker. She tries to keep her composure but her eyes well up and she struggles to speak. Bhuban notices her reaction and is moved by how much she seems to care about her studies. He apologizes for not having the notes, but promises to find a solution and get her the material in time for the test. He says "Okay I don't have it but i'll manage it for u from someone chill take my insta remind me there". After arriving home, she gets to work studying for the test and makes a plan to finish studying before the deadline. After all her hard work, she takes a moment to relax and enjoys a nice meal with her family. She then takes a break and checks her phone, scrolling through Instagram. After finishing her studies and taking a break, Jonaki checks her phone, scrolls through Instagram, and finds a message from Bhuban in her DMs. She opens the message and sees that Bhuban has sent her a simple "hey". Jonaki feels her heart racing as she reads the message. She is filled with a rush of excitement and nervous anticipation. With a deep breath, she starts to type out a response......
