Alyssa's Pov

I said goodbye to everyone with an heavy heart.

I thanked Miles for all he did and promised to be back sometime.

Though he didn't want me to go, he knew he had to let me go for my happiness.

I got into Axel's car continuously staring back at the place I called home for the last five years.

I'd forever be grateful to them all.

I couldn't believe I'll be returning to my old pack.

What was it like now?

Would I still be welcomed there?

Did anyone even remember me there?

"Put on your seat belt." Axel said breaking me from my thoughts.

I nodded and put on the seat belt then looked behind to see Kian was carefully tucked on a car seater.

Wow he even got a child seater ready for Kian.

"Is it really okay for me to go back?" I asked while we were already on the road.

"Of course. Why would you think about something like that?" Axel said his eyes fixed on the road.

"I don't know, maybe because I felt they wouldn't want me back." I said staring at my shoes.

The car suddenly came to a halt and I looked up at Axel.

"You have no idea Alyssa. Everyone has been searching for you. We all regret everything. Neglecting you when you needed us the most.

We all realised we were foolish for blaming you for your parents' death. It wasn't your fault at all. We should have been beside you to comfort you while you were grieving." He paused then looked back at Kian who was fast asleep.

He turned to me again and held my hands.

"You were so young yet we blamed you for everything. It must have been such a heavy load to carry." A tear slid down my face and he wiped it.

"We're going to make up for every single day we didn't treat you right. You're my mate and Luna of Blue Moon pack and the whole world is gonna know that." When he finished he kissed me on the lips then continued driving.

I was shocked for a minute then blushed profusely.

His words were so sweet and reassuring and I knew for a fact he meant every bit of it.

I hadn't made the wrong decision by returning to him. Nala was also very happy at this new development.

It took a few more hours till we reached Blue Moon pack.

Everything still looked the same only that some new buildings were added and the bushes unbelievably greener.

This pack was full of life and buzzing. It was the largest pack after all so you couldn't expect less.

My heart raced as we approached the pack house.

It looked the same as I could recall.

Axel parked his car and carried a sleeping Kian out of the car.

It was already dark but Kian slept throughout the trip. I was worried he would be too active tonight.

I carried Kian's luggage and backpack while Axel carried my luggage.

The front door opened as we approached it and I saw Axel's parents and sister Bianca.

They all looked shocked but happy to see me. They took turns to hug me, telling me how sorry they were and gushing over Kian who woke up with all the drama.
