It started in the Rain

It's Sunday so we are here a church ng family ko.

One of the many facts about me, I am a member of a choir here sa church na lagi naming sinisimbahan, malapit lang rin to sa village namin. Dito rin nagpakasal ulit sila Mommy when I was 1 daw.

I am a Soprano, hindi ko rin alam kanino ko namana yung hilig sa pagkanta, but, I think kay Daddy, kasi he always make harana sa amin ni Mommy especially on special occasions.

"May solo po si Gigi sa communion mamaya"

"Ay really?" They reacted and I smiled at them.

Nang magsisimula na ang mass, umupo sila sa mga bench sa tabi ng choir loft, and we started singing the entrance song.

We listened to the mass and homily ni Father, nakarelate kami kasi it's about family and choosing the perfect partner to build your family with. Napapatingin ako kay Mommy at Daddy kasi it's like they are destined to be with each other.

Take note, Daddy is Mommy's only boyfriend when they we young until they got married. I admire their relationship so much! And I wish to have a love like theirs.

Pinavideohan nila ako kay Lucas when it's time for communion. Lucas likes photography, pero ginagawa nyang sideline lang, he accepts clients and projects, pero mostly kapag vacation lang, at ako ang ginagawa nyang model sa mga IG post ng page ng studio niya.

They all look so proud while I sing, always so supportive!

After ng mass, I favored Lucas to take a picture of us ng choir ko. And also, we took a picture as a family din.

Then, we head to the mall para magkaroon ng family time. We have guards with us naman, and the guards here sa mall namin is aware din na andito kami, so in case pagkaguluhan sila Mommy at Daddy.

While eating lunch, naalala ko na may event ang choir namin, we are planning to join a competition before this year ends, and nagsend na ang coordinator namin ng inquiry for that competition and we started practicing namin for that.

"Mom, Dad, I just remember, kasi diba our choir joined a competition on November. Malayo pa naman, but, we started to rehearse in preparation of that competition, and we are actually looking for sponsors. Although, wala kayo sa list na sinendan ng solicitation ng choir head namin, but, like, I want to help kasi"

"What kind of help?"

"None of those solicitation letters came back to us pa kasi, so meaning not sure if may mags-sponsor. The church will give budget for our food, food palang yun, wala pang transpo and such"

"Ate, go straight to the point"

"Can you and Daddy be our sponsor for the competition?"

"What do you guys need?"

"Transpo, even like a van lang, and also uniform for the competition"

"I can lend you our company bus, we use it for company gatherings and out of town. But, I will talk with your ninongs about it"

"Thank you, Daddy!"

"The firm can sponsor your uniform for the competition and the other expenses needed. We can drop by sa shop ni Sharon with your head to see the design, or if they have a design in mind already"

"If you need a photoshoot, I'll be at your service" Lucas said

"Really? They'll be very happy! I'll tell this to him on next week. Thank you so much, guys! You guys are the best"

Ganyan sila ka-supportive, and I'm just so lucky to have them!

IT'S MID-DAY already and andito ako sa gym watching Lucas' practice, may laban kasi ata sila on next week, kaya grabehan na naman ang practice nila.
