YOU AND THE ITOSHI BROTHERS WERE childhood friends since your parents are good friends. So you know anything and everything about each other ,after all they were the first ones to introduce you to football .
And you were there when sae got the opportunity to fly to Spain in order to play soccer and achieve his dreams. Everything seems to be going just fine
Well.. not until his return. And then everything came crashing down..
One night after 4 years of sae's absence. You were with rin watching him practicing his shoots in a nearby field
"Keep going rin rin!!" You shouted excitedly at your friend's attempt to shoot the ball right in to the corner of the net. And he succeeded
But before you and rin could say anything a voice interrupted
"Wasn't that shot abit shoddy?" The coldness from his voice was enough to make it snow
" nii-chan!!" "Welcome back sae!" You and rin happily expressed your happiness in his return and yet he coldly replied " yeah thanks"
You took a close look at him and to say the least.. he changed. He became paler.. skinner. He didn't look like the old sae you and rin once knew
" rin.. y/n " sae voiced out calling for your and his youner brother' attention. You came and stood next to rin looking at sae
"I've changed my dreams .. instead of becoming the best striker in the world.. i'll become the best midfielder instead"
Well... that's the first bomb
(y'all know what happened next so I'm not wasting my time)
" Y/n..you and rin are not necessary in my life anymore " Sae left you and rin behind, devastated, broken and shocked , rin was on the verge of tears
" r-rin .." you bend down to him on the ground, as you placed your hand on his shoulder he spoke .
And you wished he did not
" leave me alone y/n , the last person i want to see is you. " venom dropped from his tone, he didn't even spare you a glance
Your heart shattered into pieces, you felt your body shaking. Your eyes watered and you silently walked away from him to your home
The whole thing broke your heart to witness, you've always admired sae as a big brother and a football player , also admired the determination rin had to follow his brother and become the best player but it all shattered in a matter of seconds
You arrived to your house. Covered in snow and shaking from coldness,you did your routine and went to bed without eating because you didn't feel like it
Days.. weeks and months passed since the incident and none of the brothers had talked to you, sending messages and leaving voicemails but all was delivered or left on read
You felt heartbroken at their coldness towards you even though you didn't do anything wrong to them. Always put their happiness above yours and even sacrificing your dream for them
One day you learned that rin had left for blue lock project and will stay there for some long time. You truly missed them yet they cut all contact with you
Your brain was deranged, you've been depressed lately due to many stuff happened in your life. Your ex cheated with your best friend and you fought with your parents.
Thinking you can actually calm yourself for some time. You decided to take a walk and listen to some music
While you were walking you noticed a luxurious car parking somewhere in the opposite side of the street. You, being done with your life, ignored it completely. Yet you couldn't ignore the feeling of someone following you
You stopped walking and looked behind you, Shock . Your (e/c) eyes met a sharp pear of teal eyes staring right in your soul
You took your headphones off and just stayed silent. Just then you saw sae coming out from that luxurious car and making his way to you and rin
" what the hell are you doing to her. Rin?" Sae's voice was heard by you and rin, and him. Looking at his older brother ,well .. more like glaring at him
" what are YOU doing here, shitty brother?" He answered sae with a question, sae simply looked at him and ignored him. That's when you spoke
"What do you both want?" Their attention shifted to your face and now they realized how tired and pale you looked, sadness was written in your eyes.
Sae's warm hand held your cold ones and pulled you closer to him but rin stopped him by holding your other hand
All these interactions yet they couldn't look you in the eyes. " i .. want to apologize y/n" rin started, and sae followed " i want to make up for the things i said to you "
Their hold was firm yet gente.Desperate.. was the only word to describe their expressions. They really want you to forgive them
What will you do? Being the nicest person is somehow hard when you have to choose between your dignity and heart..
