: ̗̀➛ Yugoslavia stared at his phone, his thumb hovering over Czechoslovakia's name. They had known each other for years, best friends since childhood. But lately, Yugoslavia's feelings had changed, grown deeper. He couldn't keep it inside any longer. Taking a deep breath, he tapped Czechoslovakia's name and listened as the phone rang.

"Hey, Yugoslavia! What's up?" Czechoslovakia's cheerful voice brought a smile to Yugoslavia's face.

"Hey, Czechoslovakia. Are you free this afternoon? Can you meet me at the park? I need to talk to you about something important."

"Sure, man! I'll be there in thirty. Everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's fine. See you soon." Yugoslavia hung up, his heart pounding. He had a plan, but his nerves were getting the best of him.

The park was their usual hangout spot, a place filled with childhood memories. Yugoslavia arrived early and sat on their favorite bench, a sturdy wooden seat beneath a large oak tree. He watched children play and couples stroll by, trying to calm his racing thoughts.

He remembered the first time they met here, two kids, not a care in the world. They built forts out of sticks, chased each other around the playground, and shared dreams of the future. As they grew older, their friendship deepened, evolving into something Yugoslavia couldn't quite define until now.

Soon enough, he spotted Czechoslovakia's familiar figure in the distance. Czechoslovakia was tall and lean, his hair tousled by the wind. As he approached, Yugoslavia's stomach did a nervous flip.

"Hey, Yugoslavia!" Czechoslovakia called out, jogging the last few steps. He plopped down on the bench beside Yugoslavia, giving him a curious look. "So, what's up?"

Yugoslavia took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment. "Czechoslovakia, there's something I need to tell you. It's... it's been on my mind for a while."

Czechoslovakia's brow furrowed in concern. "You're scaring me, man. Just say it."

Yugoslavia looked into Czechoslovakia's eyes, his own filled with a mixture of fear and hope. "I... I've been feeling something for a long time. And it's hard for me to say it, but I need to. Czechoslovakia, I... I love you. Not just as a friend, but more than that."

Czechoslovakia blinked, taken aback. He opened his mouth to speak, then closed it, clearly trying to process what he had just heard. The silence stretched between them, heavy and uncertain.

Yugoslavia's heart felt like it was going to burst. He continued, his voice trembling. "I've tried to ignore it, tried to push it away, but I can't. I love you, Czechoslovakia. And I couldn't keep it inside any longer. I understand if you don't feel the same way, and I don't want this to ruin our friendship. But I had to tell you."

For a moment, Czechoslovakia didn't say anything. Then, a slow smile spread across his face. "Yugoslavia, you idiot. Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

Yugoslavia's eyes widened in surprise. "What?"

"I've been feeling the same way," Czechoslovakia admitted, his voice softening. "I was just too scared to say anything. I didn't want to lose you as a friend."
