*Jax's PoV*
"Hope everyone had a good time at the dance," Mr. Park said at the start of class that morning, "and congratulations to Scarlett for organizing everything." Everyone clapped. "And speaking of all the changes at Keaton, there's been a change in our final assignment for the semester."
"Is that why this class is for juniors and seniors now?" Scarlett questioned.
S: I love being in class with Bianca but I did half of this stuff already. There's no point.
"Yes, we did have to combine some upperclassmen classes. But it's for the better. And you'll be glad to know our final project for the semester is going to be a fun one."
"More fun than working with the freshmen?" I said sarcastically, making everyone laugh.
"You're telling me you didn't have fun?" Park asked back.
"I did, but it'll be nice to do something solo. Where I really get to shine." I smiled.
J: It's weird seeing Park outside of school. Did you know he plays Tennis? Every Thursday night on the dot. Who would've thought.
"Then you're gonna like this next assignment. You'll be writing and producing three songs, for each other."
Everyone in the room started looking at each other in confusion. "You heard me right, each other. Each one of you will get assigned another classmate to write your songs for. Figure out a way to blend your songwriting technique with their style. And don't just write them some music, really get to know them. Make it personal."
S: I'm supposed to be writing songs for my EP for Clive Richie. And now I'm supposed to write for someone else?
"Now I've got everyone in the class's name in this bowl, so one at a time come up and draw one." The class slowly began walking up to grab a name.
*Jax gets up, opens his paper, and reveals he got Miles*
J: Alright!
*Miles gets up and gets Scarlett, then Bianca gets up and gets Alya*
