Chapter Three: Dean Gets Tough
Base on season 10, which means Ava is still 15 years old.
***Dean was looking over the paper while Sam was on his laptop.
Sam: you found anything in the paper?
Dean: nope, but there's been a lot of reports of children being missing, but it isn't our kind of thing because children go missing everyday. Good thing for that child we have, we always know where she is at all time
Sam: one day she's going to get sick of us
Dean: and that day better not be today
Sam: who knows she just might surprised us
Ava: dad! Uncle Sam! Can you come in here! I wanna talk to youThey both groan and Dean said.
Dean: I wonder what's this is about
Both of them leave the kitchen and heads towards Ava's bedroom.
Ava: thank you boys for coming, I laid out chairs for you two to sit
Dean: oh look Sam she provides seats for us, how wonderful. What do you want?
Ava: I have another proposition for you
Sam: oh, come on Ava, not another proposition. *mocks her voice* Uncle Sam, Dad, Can I borrow against my college fund for a new jeans jacket?
Dean: *laughs* I remember that
Sam: okay
Ava: I don't talk like that
Sam: you do in my mind
Ava: well that was reaching, but I think we're all gonna like this new proposal
Dean: ah, visual aids
Ava: *flips the paper* all right currently, I'm not allowed to leave the bunker whatsoever when you guys leave the house. So I thought of a better solution. Why don't you guys give me a curfew, so I set up a schedule that will help benefit all of us. Okay, so currently my weekend curfew is 11. So... I leave the house at 7, that gives me a 4 hr block. You see, one. two. three. four. Four— of unsupervised free time. Now, here's what I'm proposing. I would like to move my curfew- not change it, but move it. *flips the psge* in this new scenario, my time of departure will be 11. Not 7, effectively shifting my curfew from 11pm to 3am. Am I going too fast?
Dean: oh no no, we're keeping up
Sam: shifting... got it.
Ava: okay, now. You're probably wondering. "Won't you be tired Ava? "
Dean: I was just thinking the same thing
Sam: reading our minds
Ava: and you should be father because that is a good question for concerned parents, but the answer is "no" and here's why *flips page*
Dean: ahh
Ava: the 7 to 11 shift becomes Ava's nap time. So... as you can see... I'm really asking for nothing at all
Dean: wow
Ava: so... what do you think?
Sam: Dean... would do the honor and answering this question
Dean: I'm going to stand up for this
Sam: and I'm going to move out the way
Dean: the answer... to that... is... hellllllllllllll..... NOOOO....
Ava: but dad- you can't keep me locked up forever. You people are driving me crazy! I feel like I'm in prison!
Sam: alright, alright. Let Dean and I think this through and will make a deal. With you on it.Both Dean and Sam huddle up and talked it through before giving Ava a a finale answer.
Ava: well...
Sam: You can be out of the house just as long as you make it back before curfew
Ava: really? I'm free. You're not messing with me right
Dean: yes you're free, but if you break curfew, you will not be allowed to go outside ever again
Sam: just be home by 11 on weekends
Dean: and 6 on school nights
Ava: I can live with that, thanks boys. I promise. I won't let you downThe Next Day.
Sam came back from his morning jog and sees that Ava was up.
Sam: hey kiddo it's Saturday, what are you doing up?
Ava: going to hang out see what kids do around here in the neighborhood
Sam: alright it's the weekend, so be home by curfew
Ava: I sure will! Tell dad bye!
Sam: have your phone on you at all times, and text us when you're changing locations
Ava: yes sir! Bye Uncle Sam! Tell dad I said bye as well
