Marinette laid in her bed, beginning to have a dream about Felix, as she hugged her pillow softly, but it then turned into a nightmare
She immediately woke herself up, breathing heavily & sweat dripped on her forehead
Marinette: That same dream again.
She noticed her phone ringing, seeing that Felix was calling her & she scoffed, declining the call
She climbed out of bed & opened the door to the bathroom, turning on the lights, as she poured water over her face
Marinette: (mind) Maybe I just need to get back to sleep. And why did I even have that dream about him in the first place? It's not like he's ever coming back into my life.
She climbed back into her bed, snuggling under the warm covers & hugging her pillow
As morning approached, the sun began to shine through the dorm curtains & Marinette groaned, covering her face with the blanket
Marinette: Crap.. the sun is literally in my eyes.
Her alarm clock began blaring loudly & she turned it off, yawning & stretching her arms
Marinette: Ugh, I'm so tired.
She ran her fingers through her messy, blue hair & she turned to the left, noticing Alya, who was already awake & was nearly folding up her blankets, placing them back into the closet
She turned to look at her best friend a warm smile showed on her face
Alya: Morning, sleepyhead.
Marinette: Good morning to you too.
Alya: You okay? You don't seem like you slept well.
Marinette: It's just weird, Alya. I ended up having a dream about Felix last night.
Alya: Mari, I thought we were past this. You guys broke up & he's away studying abroad in London.
Marinette: I know, but I can't help but have this anxious & nervous feeling.
Alya: And what kind of anxious & nervous feeling is that?
Marinette: Like, I worry that, what if he comes back? I really don't want to see him again. It's already annoying enough that he keeps on trying to call & message me, as he knows I'm his ex-girlfriend.
Alya: You know how self-centered he is. Maybe he's changed his ways.
Marinette: Highly doubt it. But I really don't want that to be my main concern right now this morning. We should focus more on the brigjt side, such as getting to school, for example.
Alya: Yeah. Not to mention that you have to continue practicing for your upcoming recital in the next few days.
Marinette: Yeah.
