Welcome, everyone I'm going to be in the book of Mathew 25 verse 3/4 overall it's talking about 10 virgins 5 who's foolish and 5 wise ones; the foolish one represents someone who's not serious at all in their relationship with the Lord therefore the wise are fully invested. It says in verse 1 that the kingdom of heaven is like tens of virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom (mind you the kingdom of heaven is represented as VIRGINS why? It's simply because a virgin is full of holiness therefore that's how the kingdom of heaven will be full of righteousness ). Now even though the foolish virgins knew that they were going to meet the Groom which represents God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit because they didn't value God they didn't put any effort at all . Another way to say it is that for example if someone invites you on a date but that same person who invited you arrived there wearing sweatpants with would you take them serious? Does they love/ care about you? Does that person see future with you? Does that person sees you as a wife? Does they value you? Does they respect you as the guest to their invitation? Definitely NO! Why?well because if that was the case they would have put a lot more effort into the way they would be dressed to go in and see you NO EXCUSE am very not sorry to say the that's also why its good to say I love you but instead of saying it just proves it to the person since everyone can easily say it but less can prove it to you, those who prove it really mean what they said to you. The fact that the foolish didn't bother to bring the oil of their own lamp also shows that number one: they don't care about God number two: they are selfless toward themselves number three: they are mentally, physically and spiritually not connected to the Lord Jesus Christ number four: they are spiritually numb and death which allows the enemy to manipulate them as much as he can.
