"Louis, where are you taking me?" An 18 year old Harry giggled at the feeling of a 20 year old Louis poking his sides.

"It's a surprise, Harold! How many times to I have to tell you?" Louis said in an exasperated voice.

Harry knew there was a smile on Louis' face even though he couldn't see anything. "Is the blindfold really necessary?" Harry wined as he lifted one of his hands up to touch the fabric tied around his head, covering his eyes. Louis smacked his hand away before he could.

"Woah! Calm down, Curly!" Louis said in an impression of his higher pitched voice from 2010, causing Harry to laugh. The sound was music to Louis' ears and if he could've bottled the sound so he could've listened to it forever, he would've.

Harry felt the ground beneath his feet change from solid concrete to a softer feeling. Grass maybe? "Okay, hold still." Louis mumbled in Harry's ear as he started untying the blindfold around Harry's head and stuffed the blindfold into his back pocket. Harry blinked a few times a few times as he felt the cloth lift away from his eyes and they adjusted to the light of the moon and stars in the night sky.

Harry gasped at the sight in front of him. Louis was sitting on a stone bench a few feet away from Harry. An arch of flowers and vines was built over it. Louis had an adorable and slightly shy smile on his face. "Louis, what is all of this?" Harry asked as he took a step forward, a smile starting to form on his lips.

Louis gestured for Harry to sit next to him and Harry moved forward, sitting down on the cool stone bench next to Louis. "I have something for you." Louis said quietly as he reached into his pocket. "Close your eyes." Harry did as he was told and he felt Louis take his left hand in his own. Harry felt Louis slide something cold down his ring finger. "Okay, now open your eyes." Louis instructed. Harry opened his eyes and looked down at his left hand.

There was a simple silver band around his finger that had been designed to look like there were 2 different layers to the ring. Inscribed on the ring in small letters was the word 'Peace'.

"Louis... It's beautiful." Harry whispered, unable to pull his eyes away from the ring. "What is it?" He asked when he was finally able to look away from the ring and instead looked up at Louis.

"It's a promise ring, Harry." Louis mumbled, smiling softly.

Harry's mouth dropped slightly. "You mean... you want to... to marry me?" Harry asked in shock.

Louis leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on Harry's lips for a moment, causing sparks to shoot through both of their bodies, before Louis pulled away, keeping their foreheads touching. "One day, I will marry you, Harry Styles. I promise..."

Harry twisted the promise ring around his finger, a nervous habit as flashes of light started appearing in his vision. "Harry! Harry Styles! Harry, look over here!"

Harry signed a few quick autographs for some fans nearby, thanking them for coming to the show, before his security team guided him into a car and he was on the road.

The driver from the front seat spoke. "Well done, Harry. Fantastic show. We're going to head back to the hotel for the night and then we'll check out in the morning and head to the next show. All good?"

Harry nodded his head as he relaxed into his seat. "Thank you." He mumbled as he glanced out the window.

His management now was a thousand times better than the management they had in the One Direction days and he was still adjusting to the freedom that he had now. He could wear what he wanted, write songs how he liked, and schedule tour dates with as many breaks and free days in between as he wanted. He, of course, couldn't do everything he wanted to, like dating who he wanted. He still was forced into PR relationships with girls every now and again. He didn't understand why that was necessary, but he couldn't complain too much. Even the PR relationships weren't as bad as back in the One Direction days. They were a lot more relaxed and even in the relationships, Harry still had quite a bit of freedom. He wasn't forced to spend lots of time with whoever he was 'dating'. He just needed to go out with the girl every now and again. Another thing was that usually the girls he was forced to date were usually pretty nice to him. They didn't want to be there any more than Harry did.

What Harry couldn't understand was what was so bad about him having a boyfriend or something. So what if he lost fans and so called 'supporters' because of it. Harry would rather have less popularity and fewer fans if he knew that those fans completely liked him for who he was and not have fans who were unloyal, homophobic little-

"We're here, Harry." Harry was broken out of his thoughts by the voice of his driver and when he glanced out the window, he saw the hotel they had been staying at in front of them. He sat up straight in his seat and unbuckled his seat belt as the car door was opened. He climbed out of the car and glanced around for a moment. "Oh, Harry. By the way," His driver started saying as he got out of the car as well. "They'res someone waiting for you in the lobby."

Harry was slightly confused for a moment. "Who is it? Do you know?" He asked as he started walking towards the front doors of the hotel with a few members of his security team right behind him. His driver quickly followed behind him as well.

"Yeah. I think he said his name was Simon Cowell."
