~THIRD PERSON P.O.V

Sunset slept in her bed, snoring as she did so. But she was awoken by some rustling, footsteps following a few moments later. Looking over to the other bed, she gasped when she realized Twilight was missing. "Twilight?"

Heading to the flaps, she lifted them and spotted Twilight, Spike, and Galaxy running away from the camp. "Twilight! Galaxy! Where are they going?"

Sunset quickly ducked back inside to get changed before heading out of the tent. But before she went after the three, Sunset rushed to Flash's tent.

She headed inside, tiptoeing over to Flash's bed. "Flash! Flash!" she whispered/yelled, shaking his shoulders.

Flash blinked awake, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes, "Sunset...? What's wrong...?" he mumbled.

"Not really enough time. Just... Come on," Sunset started pulling him toward the flaps.

"At least let me put on some actual clothes..." Flash whispered.

"Sorry, Flash," Sunset apologized, looking over Flash's long-sleeved pants and shirt. "But no time,"

Heading out of the camp, Sunset and Flash ran into the woods, quickly catching up to Twilight, Galaxy, and Spike.

"Twilight?" Sunset called.

"Galaxy?" Flash's eyes widened.

The three paused, turning to look at Sunset and Flash as they walked over. "What are you doing out here?" Sunset asked.

"We're... we're meeting a cab to take us home," Twilight admitted with a sheepish smile.

"And... We thought that this was the perfect time," Galaxy agreed.

Sunset and Flash looked down at Spike with a raised eyebrow. "They thought you'd talk them out of it," he answered.

"Because we would," Flash nodded to confirm what they thought.

"Twilight, Galaxy, you can't leave," Sunset placed a hand on Twilight and Galaxy's arm, but was suddenly thrown into their memories.

Pinkie gasped, looking over to Trixie. "You don't think it was the spirit, do you?!" she asked.

Twilight looked away, rubbing her arm. "No... It was me..." she muttered, walking away with Galaxy.

The memory changed to earlier in the night, when Twilight, Spike, and Galaxy were making their lanterns at the picnic table. "I think it's Midnight Sparkle. She's still part of me. I can feel it. And I think her magic is infecting my friends,"

The memories switched to Galaxy, who was also at the picnic table. "I'm from Equestria, magic was practically in me when I was born. The magic you collected from us when it was released made you become Midnight Sparkle, and made me Darkness Nova... If anything, it's my magic that's affecting you and the others," she whispered.

The memory changed to a different place, of Galaxy hiding away in her room back home, clutching her chest as she tried to take deep breaths while tears rolled down her face. "It's my fault, it's my fault! When they finally realize that, they're gonna leave me like their counterparts... I ruin everything! I'm a monster!"

The memories stopped flowing through Sunset's head. She blinked, sending a reassuring smile to the two. "Twilight, there's no Midnight Sparkle. There's only you," she turned to look at Galaxy. "Galaxy, we're not gonna leave at all. None of it was your fault, you're not a monster,"

Flash's eyes widened, staring at Galaxy as he felt his breath being pulled out of him. Was this... Was this what Galaxy was feeling this whole time? Did she really feel that she couldn't step up to talk about her problems because she thought that he and their friends were gonna leave her?
