The ever so chaotic Shergill house is quiet, for, the princess of the house is quiet. When her badimaa asks about the reason, she tells her that she's upset with a friend. Savita kisses her head softly and asks her to blurt out the reason but the girl is hesitant to do so. Meanwhile, her phone rings and her lips curve into a smile. She excuses herself and runs into her room to attend the call. However, the landline also rings and Savita picks it up, wavering off her conversation with her darling daughter.
Inside her room, Raina picks up the call and instantly begins to complain. She is annoyed that her friend didn't call her for a whole week and that they couldn't even chat on their regular schedule.
"Hey! Why didn't you call me? Are you okay? Sab thik hai na?"
"What? Are you even serious? Dekho mujhe is tarah ka mazaak pasand nahi hai. I hope tum mujhse koi mazaak nahi kar rahe ho." Raina says over the phone and she smiles again as the person assures her. She chuckles.
"Yay, I will meet you then. Bahut mazaa aayega. See you soonest!" She chuckles.
After disconnecting the call, Raina jumps on her toes. Her mood has changed drastically. She is glad at the mere thought that she'd be meeting her friend soon. She sends a message to her friend and then rushes out, she's ready to share the happy news with her mom. She hugs Savita silently, finding her busy on the call. The lady disconnects the call and embraces her in her arms.
"Kya baat hai? Meri bachi ka mood thik hogaya? Aa gaya teri dost ka call?" she asks lovingly.

"Haan, Mumma! Baat ho gayi, aur aapko pata hai, mere kuch dost Mumbai aane wale hai. Main soch rahi hoon main unko hamare ghar pe bulaun? Bula lun?" Raina asks her mother.
"Han, beta! Main bhi milna chahungi, aur agar wo family ke sath hai toh zaroor milana. Tere badepapa aur papa ko bhi achcha lagega." Savita gives her consent and Raina jumps on her toes.
"Yay! Wo log next week aayenge. Tab tak main mere assignments finish kar lungi. Bahut mazza aayega, mumma." She chuckles causing Savita to smile.
"Achcha, aap batao, aap kisse baat kar rahi thi?" Raina asks and break the hug.
