Uh I also just kind of realized that I haven't updated in almost two years so I think this is going to flop lowk😔
3rd of May, 1983
I backed up quickly, realizing the car infront of me wouldn't stop. 'Watch where you're going!' The woman driving the car yelled and put her middle finger up to me. I groaned in annoyance. Couldn't people just be kind for once? My feet were aching from all the walking I had to do since my car broke down earlier, that crappy car finally gave in. I remembered all that happened before the restaurant was closed down. That little girl's body was mutilated, I remember looking at her back, the comepletely hollow hole that was once her spine. Right, that happened. I couldn't get the picture out of my head, She was left to die in the back of that restaurant.
As a detective, you see things, but this? I had never seen this before. Such a brutal murderer needed to be locked up forever, for the rest of their life. I was so lost in my deep that I didn't even see the curb I had stepped onto. With one quick miss step, I lost my balance. The impact my elbow made against the concrete floor was hard. I groaned again, sighing as I rubbed my hand against it, No blood, good.
'Hey? Are you okay, Ma'am?' I heard a voice behind me call out. My head darted towards the figure, my face showing no emotion besides uncomfort. 'Oh.. Yeah.. I just tripped' I said, my face turning red at the embarrasment. People must've walked by and laughed inside their minds, to be completely honest. I would too. The man looked familliar, like I knew him from something, then it hit me. 'Do I know you from something?' The man asked, he had these round glasses and blonde curly hair.
'I.. I'm an investigator.. Or a detective.. Whatever.. I think I was at fredbears family diner for a while' I said, slowly getting up by myself and dusting the dirt off of my butt. God, I just got this coat and it was already ruined by the brown and green grass stains.
'Right, I remember you, Miss..'
'Y/n L/n' I finished. His eyes looked empty, like something had taken the life out of them, I guess that's what happens when your child gets taken away from you.
He nodded, trying to give me a sincere smile, but it didn't last long, before he realized why I was here again. 'You're here for the missing kid, aren't you?' he asked. I bit my lip again and nodded slowly. He opened his mouth to say something but nothing came out. 'Let's go in' I mumbled, trying to give him some sort of comfort by plastering an extra polite smile on my face, which didn't do much.
As we walked towards the building, I could feel something was off, A very bad feeling.
Mr. Emily picked at his skin, a sign of stress. He felt bad about this whole situation and I understood, working with these kinds of cases was definitely draining. I mustered up the courage to place a hand on his shoulder, causing his eyes to lock onto mine.
'We'll find the sick bastard who did this'
I reassured him, he returned a gentle smile, but he didn't look convinced,
'Yeah..'
He muttered out. We entered the building and I was met with a warm pizza smell filling my nostrils, It felt nostalgic in a way. The restaurant was almost fully empty, with employees cleaning and rinsing every single corner of the structure, the sick smell of chemicals melting with the odor of pepperoni.
'What's the plan?'
Mr. Emily had asked me, I turned to him after observing the place.
'Look around to see if there's any type of indication of a murder.. something like that'
