Mapleshade padded back to camp with Birchface. Her amber eyes glittering with sorrow. The dark tabby laid his tail across mapleshades back.

"It will be okay. They will understand and will forgive you." He said softly. Mapleshade looked at him. "Are you sure about that? I did attack Ravenwing and said not some nice things to my kin."

Birchface nodded slightly. "I know, but you were in shock and grief," He spoke smoothly.

As he finished his sentence, Oatspeck greeted the two warriors. "Oh, thank goodness he found you!" She said with a whimper.

Mapleshade flinched at the concern in the medicine cats voice. She spoke softly, "Im...I'm so sorry, Oatspeck, I shouldn't have said those things!!" She cried.

Oatspeck pressed herself against the calico molly and whispered. "It's okay.. I know you didn't mean those things..."

She licked the top of the mollies head and walked her back into camp. The pair sat down by the body of the pale calico molly.

As cats shared tongues with the molly one last time. Everyone gave Mapleshade and Oatspeak sympathetic glances.

The two mollies sat with the body of the pale calico molly. The sun dipped low, and the moon took its place. The stars glittered brightly above them.

Mapleshade flicked her ear, feeling someone move next to her. She opened her eyes and looked over at her kin, but Oatspeak hadn't moved, and her eyes were still closed.

She turned to the over side and felt her heart flip. It was Petalspirt. Her once ragged tan pelt now glowed full with stars.

Her bright brown eyes filled with emotions. "Hello Mapleshade, it is so good to see you once more." Her voice sounded wise now.

Mapleshade looked at Oatspeak and back at her sister.  The smaller molly chucked. "She cannot see or hear me." She giggled.

Mapleshade looked at her sister softly. "It's so good to see you once more."

Before her sister could speak, another voice spoke. "Oh, Petalspirt, I'm so happy to see you once more."

"M-Mom?" The calico molly looked at her mother. Her once ragged and uncept fur now shines smoothly and full.

The pale calico molly leaned forward and touched her nose to her daughters head. "Im so sorry for leaving you in such away." She whispered.

"I must go now, but never forget what this clan has given to you and what you will give to it." She spoke softy.

Mapleshade looked a little confused at her mother's words. But before she could ask, the two cats purred a goodbye and turned to walk to the stars.

Mapleshade with a start and looked at the paw who shook her awake. She turned her amber gaze to the dark gray tom and the dark brown tabby. "Ravenwing? Birchface?" She asked softly.

The two Tom's nodded, "I brought Ravenwing to you, I... I know you wanted to talk to him."

Mapleshade sat up and nodded slightly. "I'm...I'm so sorry Ravenwing, I shouldn't have said those thing to you or... or attacked you" She mumbled.

The dark gray tom gazed filled with fondness for the molly. "It's okay," He said, resting his head on her shoulders. "You were in shock and grieving..." He said quietly.

Mapleshade looked at him, her eyes lit with appreciation and happiness as he said those words.

After the cats woke Oatspeak, the elders took the pale calico molly away and buried her.
