Deep Blues

Error rested peacefully upon the warm, golden coast beneath him. With a tentative ear he listened to the waves crashing in below his feet, and with a sigh of relief, he allowed all of the tension consuming his body to wash away. A smile grew gently on his face as he looked towards the sky... the pure, bright blue atmosphere gleamed back at him as the clouds' shadows rolled around him. Occasionally, the sun, being obscured by one of these clouds, would be blocked off of his body for just a moment, allowing a nice, peaceful rest from the warm, glowing beams.

"Ahhh..." Error sighed once more and closed his eyes, "This is good..."

A cloud yet again enveloped his body... or maybe just his head... it also seized to move anywhere else... he could also recall a faint sound accompanying it. With confusion, he opened his eyes to gaze upon the sky--

"What the heck are you doing here??" Error exclaimed, quickly glitching away from the unwanted presence. He only received a smile in return.

"Howzitgoin', Error? Beautiful day today, isn't it?"

"Get lost!" Error, officially having his afternoon ruined, opened up a portal for Ink to crawl through. Instead, not to Error's surprise, Ink layed down next to him.

"Man, I sure love OceanTale."

"Go away."

"I love that sun on my skin."

"You don't even have skin... Just go away!"

"I brought you something."

"I don't want it."

"C'mon, Error! I made it just for you!"

"I especially don't want it now."

"Error! Please!"

Error, insinuating the exit for Ink, opened the portal much larger.

"If you don't get out willingly, then I'm gonna use my strings to toss you--"

"Hey, have you seen Dream anywhere?"

"No, go find him and leave me alone."

"But Error, you're always alone! You could do with some friends once in a-- OH MY GOSH IS THAT A DOLPHIN?!"

Error glanced over towards the center of the ocean. There, in the vast abyss of the waters, swam a large blue whale. Error sighed, not out of relaxation, but out of frustration.

"Leave."

"Why?"

"You don't even know what a dolphin is!"

"Yes I do!" Ink defended himself. He grabbed a pencil and a pad of paper and began to illustrate his thoughts. "See, Sharks are these super crazy creatures that--"

"DOLPHIN, Ink... DOLPHIN."

"Dolphin?? Where?!" Ink jumped up enthusiastically from his position and ran towards the shore. Error could hardly make out Ink's words since every one of them was captured by the deep waters. Error took this as mercy... it gave him enough time to determine how he would expel Ink from his quiet time. Suddenly, Ink looked back to him, calling him out of his thoughts.

"Error, you lied to me! There was no Sea Horse!"

Error could almost feel himself glitching out of time. "Ink, you MORON!" he exclaimed, causing Ink to dramatically clasp his hands over his mouth.

"Gah! That's so mean, Error! Apologize, right now!" Before Error fought back, an idea forced him to pause... what better way to put Ink in the spotlight than to...

"Apologize for what, Ink? What did I do wrong?"

Ink couldn't place the reasoning behind Error's smirk. Nevertheless, he went to recount the crimes Error commited. "You called me a... or wait, you said... uh, hold on... you... uh... what were we talking about again?"

Error burst out in laughter as he dug his back into the sand. Ink stood there awkwardly, trying to remember if he had told Error a joke.

"Ink, you absolute imbosile! You're so incapable of doing anything that you can't even remember what made you so mad! You are so pathetic!"

Ink stood there, his artifical soul being rang with hurt. "W-What?? Why are you saying this to me?? I get you hate me, but c'mon! That's not--"

"What? What did I say that was so mean, huh?"

"You-- you! You-- I-- Gah! I don't remember!"

Error nearly cried at his laughter as he pounded the ground next to him. He could hardly get a word out.

"You-- You-- HAH! You need to get your-- hah-- brain checked or something! Oh wait, you don't have one! HAHAHA!"

Error clasped his eyes closed once more. He could hardly breath because of his laughter. "You-re nothing, Ink! Noth--"

However, Ink was gone. Error looked around in confusion, checking various locations for his prescence. After some time and silence, he concluded that his experiment worked. "Heh, and that is how you get rid of a pesk 101."
