*Few days later, it's October*
*Saptaparni's POV*
Today was Ashtami, the eighth day already, I was invited to my bff, Anna's house to like every year. I wore a purple saree. There some more students from our school who attended Puja every year over here. At first we had some really good talk or adda in Bengali. Then we had the delicious bhog which is blessed food by goddess Durga. We clicked some pictures later near the tree with beautifully smelling white flowers. It was Sandha arati time, praying time basically and some rituals as well. We danced to Dhaak, our traditional instrument which is similar to drums but not exactly. We all were enjoying so much. We played Uno, played some old songs and made hilarious jokes from our school days. Atlast after dinner, it was time to bid goodbye. Usually we all don't talk or meet much but the bonds stays, just like the emotion of Durga Puja in us, waiting every year like a mad lover!*Next day*
I woke up the the messages of Danny missing her flight and she's going to arrive tomorrow. Urgh! I was okay with Sunshine though!*Skipping time to 6pm*
I wore my favourite red saree, red lipstick, simple yet elegant jwellery. I drove to the event place. I was waiting for Sunshine as he entered in his bright yellow car, wearing a red kurta, looking smokin' hot! 'Aaja meri gari mein baith ja' was being played in his car as i whistled and winked at him shouting "man is late, but the best"! He hopped outside as always forgetting the existing of car's door, came beside me and whispered in my years "You're never late, but ate, my tree". I smiled and pulled him to the dance floor. It all started with some dandiya for navratri which soon turned to bollywood dance crazily! As they started playing 'Nagada sang dhol baje' everyone grabbed their red powered colours saved from Holi, us crazy Indians! It was red all over the place and people were dancing like anything! I and sunshine grab a vodka shot and again went back to dancing! Suddenly, someone's left hand wrapped around my bare sweaty waist softly with red colour in their hands, and their right hand applying colour in my neck while sniffing my body scent deeply! I was frozen realising my Sunshine went from warmth to heat mode real quick! He quickly turned me around to face him by pulling me by my waist, even closer! I splashes the red colour I had in my hand on his right cheek with a huge smirk while he smiled accepting it! My first ever eye contact, his eyes shiny as sunshine and definitely my eyes full of unspoken love! His hands were on my waist while mine on his shoulders, slowly dancing without blinking staring into eachother's soul! Is this what love feels like? Feeling like seconds, this way, almost 15 minutes had past and a phone call interrupted our romantic moment! I was smiling like anything when he went to attend the call at back side which was empty. I was ready to confess my love and ran towards the place where he went, only to Realise, that my Real eyes were witnessing some Real lies! I couldn't bare it, my heart was shattered into pieces, ONCE AGAIN. My hopeless heart never felt so hopeful and loved until, AGAIN, IT WAS BROKEN. MY SUNSHINE, was dancing the Same way, with some OTHER WOMAN there. As the music around me was all paused, the world around me was again all cloudy, and probably was going thunder and rain like hell. I was devastated, I ran towards my car and went to club nearby. I looked like red mess just like my heart felt! I ordered some strong vodka shot, I almost took 7 and wasn't able to hold myself back together once again, I felt dead. I paid and ran outside while it was raining heavily with thunders. I was all drenched in rain, i dropped to my knees, bursting into tears, BADLY. My heart was pounding like hell, I was panting hard to catch my breath, my eyes and head were paining, my heart felt crushed and my soul wanting to just go away with this rain water. When, I got a text from someone, I was little surprised but atleast I was right, i wiped my tears and drove to the Golden lock bridge to meet someone, without thinking what possibly could get any worse...
