Merlin is a widow and has had to bring up his daughter Helen all by himself. His wife Sanex died when Helen was very young. Its been hard but with the help of family and friends Merlin has achived the impossible. Helen is now a fine young woman of 21 years of age and her father Merlin is very proud of her. Helen loves her father very much.
Every sunday they go to the church yard to visit Sanex's grave. They miss her a lot and a day doesn't go by without them thinking of her. She was a good wife to Merlin and a good mother to Helen. Sanex was only 29 years of age when she died. The funeral was a sad day for father and daughter who had to support eachother during the service.
Merlin's best friend Arthur who was also at the service has supported Merlin ever since. Infact Merlin cannot stop thinking about Arthur. Could Merlin be secretly gay and have feelings for Arthur?and could Arthur have the same feelings for Merlin?.
Anyway today is a big day for father and daughter. You see Merlin has brought a two bedroom appartment in the City of Camelot. He has also enrolled his daughter into the high school called Camelot High. Helen has never been to school because her father taught her at home with the help of Gaius who is the brother of Hunith. Hunith is Merlin's mother and Balinor is Merlin's father.
When Helen attends Camelot High it will be a new experience for her and one that may be a bit scary as well. It will be the first time that Helen has mixed with other students so she will have lots to get used to. Going to school by bus will be scary for her as well as getting to know other students. How will Helen get on when she attends school for the very first time?and will she make any friends?.
Helen's father Merlin is hopefull that his daughter will enjoy school and make lots of friends. In a few days time Merlin will be taking his daughter to Camelot High as the have a meeting with the head Principal of the school. They will then be given a tour of the school. Helen will get a map, a list of the classes and a list of what school books she will need.
Tomorrow will be moving day so its will be bed early to get a good nights sleep ready for the new adventures that awaite Merlin and his daughter Helen. Helen will miss their cottage in Ealdor as well as her Uncle and her Grandparents.
Helen's Uncle is Gaius. Helen's Grandparents are Hunith and Balinor who are also Merlin's parents. Helen knows that her father will take her for visits every sunday which gives Helen something to look forword to.
It will be a sad day tomorrow and be hard to say goodbye.
