Chapter 26 - A man of many lies

Keegan pulled up at his home after he and Ryan had left Knox in the basement of his main trap. He saw Wesley waiting sitting on his doorstep. He got out of the car. "Sup man?."

"You and Marnie...

Keegan rolled his eyes. "What about it?.. man it was fucking years ago."

"Why didn't you say anything..

"Because it had nothing to do with you.. we had a relationship, lasted a little less than a year and then we went our separate ways.. what is the issue?." Keegan said.

Wesley sighed, he didn't really know himself. It was more the fact that the women he loved had been in a relationship with his boss and friend but there wasn't that much that could be done by digging all of this up now and he missed Marnie and his son.
"I left her...

He raised his eyebrows. "Are you serious?.. Wesley, she is your girl... You have a son together... Me and Marnie were together 10 or more years ago... You don't want to throw away what you got over something that was just youngsters fooling around...

Wesley knew deep down that he was right, he had overreacted, when her and Keegan had actually ended three maybe four years before they even got together or even really knew each other. Wesley stood up. "You have Knox?."

Keegan nodded. "Yeah.. and he will pay for this little fucking circus act that he's been performing...

Wesley chewed his lip. " charisma knows about you and Marnie... Marnie told her earlier today...and umm.. she knows about yo revenge plot to kill her...

He sighed. "Why the fuck did you tell her...

" I couldn't carry that burden around with me... I told Marnie and she wanted to get Ryan involved it wasn't until later that we told charisma... I'm sorry man but I don't believe in what you wanted to do with her....

"Great now I have to damage limit-ate... I better go and see her... What with her finding out about me and Marnie and also finding out that I planned to kill her... it'll take a lot for me to talk around, but I will... how was she when you saw her last?."

" she never really said much, she was quite quiet about it... She did ask Marnie if you had ever hit her in all the time that you were together... Of course Marnie answered her truthfully and said no... but I don't know how that's left her feeling... maybe you should go and see her... let her know that the whole killing thing was a mistake...And I will go back and sort out my relationship..."

" yeah... You do that... Marnie is a good person, and she loves you..."
Wesley turned to walk to his car. "Wesley...
he turned back to look at Keegan. " don't you ever talk my fucking business to anyone ever again..."

Wesley stared at him but stayed quiet, he knew Keegan was angry deepdown because of him telling Marnie, Ryan and Charisma of his plan.

Keegan watched Wesley leave and he rolled his eyes. Now he knew that he had to go and make sure Charisma was still on side.

It was a while later that charisma heard Keegan's car pull into her driveway. She had already gotten word that both him and Ryan were now safe. But she still couldn't see past the fact that he had arranged and planned her death, even the Marnie issue wasn't that much of a thing. Now the dust had settled and she knew that both him and Ryan were safe, the thoughts of what he had wanted to do, and even planned suddenly flooded her mind and made her feel very anxious and nervous. She opened the door to him and raised a small smile, she was still very nervous.

He looked at her. "We've got some talking to do...

She nodded, and let him through. The kids were at their usual daycare and school so they had the place to themselves while Lani slept upstairs. "First of all I know about you and Ryan... he told me what happened, but why you couldn't be truthful with me and tell me that it was him in the first place is beyond me...

"I didn't plan it, it just happened, we weren't together.....

"Shut up... I heard it all from Ryan I do not need to hear it again from you..... but it leads me on to the second issue.. me wanting to kill you... as soon as you told me that you let another man hit.. I wanted to hurt you.... whether it was Ryan or any other mother fucker... so I planned to off you." He said callously.

Charisma swallowed hard. "We weren't together..

"Charisma, just shut up.. I don't wanna hear another fucking word outta yo mouth... you've done enough fucking me around.. it's time I was back to calling the shots..." out of the blue he back handed her face hard. "And never hide shit from me again.. scared of the consequences or not....you should still have had the decency to tell me that you fucked my best friend... I mean, you knew about Nijada, I didn't keep that from you... it was yo dumbass fault if you wanted to stay with me while I did that...
He laughed like a crazy person and then sighed loudly. " everyone wants me to be so fucking nice to you charisma, but they don't know what a lil conniving bitch you really are... But you know what, what I say to them and what I say to you is two different things... So hear this.. yes.. I had a relationship with Marnie and yes I planned to kill you... and what are you gonna say about it...

"That I don't need to put up with this anymore.. we're still not really together" her voice wobbled as she tried to get a handle on her fear. "you're never gonna change..." she said her eyes glistening.

"What the fuck did I do now?.." he snapped.

"I knew what you were doing with Nijada.. and I am not a dumbass, you just wouldn't let me leave... I had to find the strength to leave you...

"So you've grown some balls now huh?... Charisma wake up!.. you're mine, you always were since the day I met you and you always will be no matter what you think you can do... I have control of you and yo life, I've let you play yo games and sat back waiting for the right time to reign you back in...

Charisma headed towards the door quickly and he ran and stood in front of it, taking her cell from her hands. "Sit down and keep yo mouth shut.....Maybe this has come full circle now and it's time for you to go.. by the only way that I would ever let you go... you know what that means." He smirked at her. "So what is it?..

"Lani is upstairs...

"I said WHAT IS IT?." He yelled making her jump

"In a coffin.... the only way you'll ever let me go is in a coffin.." she said reciting what he had told her many a time, as she was beginning to shake.

He sniggered "good girl, now sit down!."
