Nanon's day began like any other, with an unfortunate mishap. He woke up to find his alarm clock had stopped working during the night. Groggily, he scrambled to get ready, only to trip over his untied shoelaces and spill his breakfast on his shirt. With a resigned sigh, he changed into his spare shirt—always kept at the ready for such emergencies—and hurried out of his tiny apartment, hoping to make it to his morning class on time.

As he walked briskly through the bustling campus of THB University, his bag suddenly tore open, spilling its contents across the sidewalk. Students around him laughed and pointed, making Nanon feel like he was the punchline of a cruel joke. He knelt down, quickly gathering his scattered books and papers, feeling the familiar sting of embarrassment.

Just as he reached for the last of his papers, a shadow fell over him. He looked up to see Ohm, the university's golden boy. Ohm was everything Nanon wasn't—handsome, smart, and incredibly lucky. With his tall, athletic build and a smile that could light up a room, Ohm was adored by everyone.

"Need some help?" Ohm asked, his voice warm and friendly.

Nanon blinked in surprise, momentarily stunned by Ohm's presence. "Uh, no, I'm fine. Thanks."

But Ohm knelt down and started helping him anyway, picking up papers and handing them to Nanon. "I insist. You shouldn't have to pick up everything alone."

Nanon's heart skipped a beat. He could barely believe that Ohm, of all people, was helping him. Once they had gathered all the papers, Ohm smiled at Nanon, his eyes crinkling at the corners in a way that made Nanon's stomach flutter.

"There you go. All set," Ohm said, handing Nanon the last of his papers.

"Thanks," Nanon mumbled, feeling his cheeks heat up.

"No problem. I'm Ohm, by the way."

"I know," Nanon blurted out before he could stop himself. Everyone knew Ohm.

Ohm laughed, a sound that seemed to chase away the remnants of Nanon's bad morning. "And you are?"

"Nanon," he replied softly.

"Well, Nanon, it's nice to meet you. See you around." With that, Ohm stood up and walked away, leaving Nanon standing there with a strange mix of admiration and intimidation swirling inside him.

As the day went on, Nanon couldn't shake the encounter from his mind. Ohm had a way of making everything seem brighter, and for the first time in a long while, Nanon felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe things could change. Maybe his luck was turning around.

But then, just as he was starting to feel optimistic, another mishap occurred. As he opened a can of soda during lunch, it exploded, drenching him in sticky liquid. He sighed, looking down at his soaked shirt and the amused faces of his classmates.

"Nice one, Nanon," one of them called out, laughing.

Nanon forced a smile, shrugging it off. He had a spare shirt in his bag—his third of the day—and quickly changed in the restroom. As he stood in front of the mirror, he couldn't help but think about Ohm. What must it be like to have everything go right all the time?

A week later, Nanon found himself in the library, hunched over his laptop as he worked on an assignment. He always carried multiple copies of his essays, just in case something went wrong. The library was his sanctuary—a place where he could focus and forget about his perpetual bad luck, if only for a little while.

As he typed away, deep in concentration, a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts. "Hey, Nanon. Do you mind if I sit here?"

Nanon looked up, his eyes widening in surprise. It was Ohm. The library was nearly empty, so there were plenty of other places to sit. "Uh, sure. Go ahead."
